I hope this rumor is true...why would Ticketmaster post this on their website if it wasn't...right? I'd love to see one of Ed's solo concerts. Unfortunately I missed out on both Boston shows this past August and I am still very sad about that. I was not quick enough to get tickets before they sold out in 3 seconds! Please Ten Club make some sort of annoucement...Ed solo shows or PJ tour! I have 5+ weeks of vacation time from work this year and would love to spend some of that time at a show or two!

There were plenty of tickets available for face both nights leading up to those shows especially the night of the show.

According to Ticketmaster they were sold out...believe me I tried to get some. The only ones available were on E-Bay and they were for $1,000.

Where were you looking? I found a pair for night two, but was sol for night 1, no matter how hard I tried

outside the opera house. Just about every EV show had tiks available night of the show - heck I remember hearing about some people scoring tickets for far less then face to some of the shows........

TM and 10c aren't not the only sources for tickets. If you had shown up a few hours before the show there is no doubt you would of gotten a ticket for face. Just need to be resourceful.

probably. I don't think its a joke if its on the website. It is a little weird that he'd randomly play in baltimore so im half expecting more dates.
    Fully expect, not half.
    It's happening.

that's about what I was thinking. Damn I hope he plays Atlanta or even Florida!!!!
That idea makes a lot of sense to me too. Other than Philly, he hit ever major city in the North East. A little mini-tour would make sense. Something along the lines of: Baltimore-Raleigh-Atlanta-Orlando-Nashville-St. Louis-Dallas-Austin-New Orleans.

Then again, this whole Baltimore thing may or may not be anything ...

There were tons of tickets floating around the forums, too. And some decent people on craigslist selling them for face value.

Well, we will see in the next few weeks. If there is a fall tour, I am sure they will announce dates soon. And if this Baltimore show is one of a few solo gigs, it is getting close to about the time to announce ticket sales. I would think they would have to say within the next two weeks or so if the Baltimore dates are the 14/15 of June.
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...
  • chills -- the solo shows we caught last summer were incredible (Boston I and DC I). While I got completely shut out via the 10c onsale. I thought the tickets were pretty easy. I got NJPAC for friends plus DC and Boston. I picked up DC the day before the show on ticketbastard and ended up 11th row. I'm psyched for this, but as many have said, we need a full band tour also.

Those were especially for you :) I think both would be obvious choices on a mini tour of the south.

Look, I may be wrong, but if Ed has a 4 month old, do you think he's really gonna wanna tour, doing pretty much the same thing he did in the same places he did last year? Baltimore is East Coast people!
I can see him maybe coming out to be part of the band and do a short tour this year, totally. But I just don't see another solo tour for the 2nd year in a row... and wait, don't tell me...Liam Finn is opening, right? :)

    Ticketmaster has had errors before.

Can anyone say "MSG 3rd night" showing up on the '03 tour after the public onsale??? I knew you could.

Wow, that is one nice movie theatre!!

I think that picture was taken when it opened in 1928. ;-)

As much as I love the fun of the Byrd, the seats are crowded and horribly uncomfortable. I vote for the Landmark Theater. It has its own pool so Ed doesn't have to get hounded for autographs at the YMCA.

You would think that this tour, if it indeed happens, will be south-east.

He already played major cities in the northeast (New York, Toronto, Boston, Montreal).

Although I wouldn't mind if he came back up here.

What's funny is if we get information tomorrow morning no one will trust it.

April 1st is not a good day for a press release.
