If they go on sale in May, I'm fucked! NO I won't be....think positive, think positive, think positive...
Yep......wait til we've all got out tax returns done
Yeah, that's what I was going to say, as I get a few thousand back off tax at the end of the financial year. I'd prefer they came out next year as I could better afford them then. I'm planning on seeing them Sydney, Adelaide and my own city, Melbourne. And Ed said at the third Melbourne concert back in '06 they'd be back in a few years, I clearly remember him saying that. Though it depends on how many "a few" means, few usually meaning 3 or more.

and he said a couple of years at the Perth gig
Got my fingers crossed to do as much of this tour as possible ....hopefully ALL of it!(Aus leg, that is)
I think I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone again as much as the shows!
If they do play shows out in Aus, hopefully they'll be willing to hop a little further and play a show or two in Hong Kong. Given I moved out here recently, it would be a shame not to see a show this tour.

Was it you that flew back to Aus/Perth for the '06 gig?
I want 10c tickets to ALL FUCKING SHOWS this tour....
I said ALL!
None of this just the first show of each city crap again!!!!
I have to politely disagree - purely based on my personal experience...
For Melbourne 1, I was third row, but the last two seats of the aisle, extreme left. For the other two I had first elevation first few rows, and had a much better/comfortable view. I would have hated to have those same seats for all 3 shows.
Make all shows 10C tickets, but perhaps make subsequent shows random to mix it up a bit.
Just my $0.02
Stars walk the red carpet because they're famous - I walk the toilet paper because im the shit.

Bring on the lottery. It seemed to work fantastically for the last US East Coast tour so I'm guessing it'll be carried on for all other PJ tours

you won't get it. coppel has too much of a say as to who gets what tickets, PJ had to fight to get the number of fan club tickets they got, and had to fight to get them in the front.
normally fanclubs get a very small percentage of tickets, and they are normally not all together in the front few rows like PJ get.

To give you an idea what my spending was like in 2006, ill outline my cost breakdown:
Keep in mind I live in Sydney, so for me it was good cos the tour kicked off in Sydney, and I ended up doing all shows
Flights. Sydney - Bris, Bris - Melb, Melb - Syd, Syd - Ade, Ade - Perth, Perth - Sydney. Total $800.
Accommodation: Average of $100 per night, only had to pay for Accomm in Melbourne, Newcastle and Adelaide
Tickets: $100 each and 12 concerts, so $1200.
Remember to set some cash aside for any merch purchases, posters, shirts, hoodies etc
My Annual Leave money came in handy for most of the trip, 3 1/2 week holiday hehe
Thats what I was thinking, couldnt remember the exact wording - definately use the lottery system!!
I will aim for 3-4 k saved!
My parents will think I am nuts and say I should save the money for a property.
