Am I missing the sarcasm or are you actually complaining about the 13th row? Some people...

We you are woman who is 5'5" inches tall and are directly behind a row of 6 ft tall men .. yes. I tried standing on my chair a few times to get a better view but got blasted by security. Everyone was standing. :?

Moral of the story - Should've got off your arse and joined the Ten Club sooner than you did. Absolutely nobody else to blame but yourself.

I'm off to see The Who :)

Is there an IGNORE button on this forum? ;)

I've changed my mind. I'm trying to convince my US buddy with a good 10c number to fly to Australia in November.....and he might give me a spare ticket or two....front row in front of Ed....oh fuck yeah!

My friend, if you are reading....fucking DO IT!! We'd have sooooooooo much fun...and you know it!

If this tour is true, looks like getting pregnant is being put off until next year then! Priorities!!!

I'm 5 foot 1 and was in row 10 in 2003 and didn't see ANYTHING!!! I was standing on my bf's shoes to add an extra inch!

But row 1 in 2006 made up for it! WOO HOOO!!!

I wanted to climb up on my boyfriend's shoulders but he wouldn't let me. :)

I'm determined to get front row this year!!

But if it does Ill be happy to produce half the amount of sperm when I blow my load

Why? Eddie said several times in 2006 that they'd be back in a few years and remember the "Mark Richards / Newcastle Triannual" statement? :P

As much as Id love it to be true and do agree they will play Newcastle next time...Ed would have been wasted when he said that and I dont believe they'll come here on 'that' basis alone
I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

Well we know that they're not touring next year as Ed says in this interview.

to all the peeps crappy on about ed saying back in 3 years, i recall him saying in NZ in 98 that they'll be back to them in a few years.

    what's it been, 10?

i really have doubts it will be this year, more like early next year, at the earliest.

But didn't someone say that they read an article where Ed said they won't be touring in 2010?

i don't remember seeing that, but to me it don't make much sense, they are gonna have a new album out late this year, and then not tour in support of it til 2011? over a year after it comes out????

unless the album is coming out very soon there isn't time to tour off it if they plan to have 2010 off

Yep.. I posted the link on the previous page here. Here's some of what Ed says.

Today, 18 years on from the release of Ten and Pearl Jam are halfway through making their ninth studio album. “It’s taken two weeks to get halfway there and that’s writing it from the bottom up, so we’ll see how long it takes to finish it.

“I’m not sure what the recording process is going to be, but we will be playing shows,” says Eddie.

“One of us is having a baby next year so there’ll be no touring then so we have to get it done this year.
