My favourite PJ minute from the old days
Now that it is on youtube and we again live in the ten era, I'd like to share with you one of, if not the coolest moment I have ever witnessed with this band.
This is Porch from Melweg Amsterdam 1992:

The song starts off in normal fashion and smoothes intoa nice and pretty slow jam. THEN from the 4 minute mark, things start to happen. From 4:00 to 5:10 feast your eyes and ears on Stone. He starts some awfully appealing riffing, before he and Dave meets at the climaxe for an explosion & a tempo change that goes so damn well together. They continue this beat and at around 5:00 you see eddie come up from the crowd like a madman possessed!! I get chills watching and listening to this, 4:10 to 5:20 is old PJ at their absolute best! The whole show is pure gold!
Who else enjoys this as much as I do? I think you need to watch this a few times to really understand how sick this is.

Btw..
Check out that guy who jumps on Stage near the end and stands next to Ed, either that guy is a giant or Ed is really short. Probably a little of both, but he jumped into the crowd (that must have hurt) followed by Jeff who again is on fire!>>>
"Doo do do do doo do doo, Doo do do do doo do doo..."
Agreed.
Also, I miss Dave A.
Another 'moment' from same show.

This is part 2 of 'I've got a feelin'. Again its Stone being groovy and getting into it! Good footage of his playing from the 0:30 mark. I recommend watching the entire track though. Some really good jamming.

the old crazy Eddie days eh??
Very Loud is where this is at!

I find it very funny for some reason how Jeff is darting from one side of the stage to the other really fast.
Sure are alot going on here
It is discussed in the book 'five against one', how they so early in their career managed to play with such accuracy, creativity and consistancy in their jams. This is one example (also I've got a feelin), they feed off each other so well - magic!
And Stone! You really hear him here, he is the dominant sound, being fucky, fresh and loud. I know I am very happy Eddie picked up the guitar, but sometimes I think he should leave the guitar to make more room for Stone to dominate like he does here on porch and i've got a feelin. Stone was particularly creative in his playing, he needs to show off his old tricks again cause they are amazing!
Eddie sings better without a guitar in his hands anyway.
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"
