I would agree with the suggestions about the Goo Goo Dolls being a pop band; however, I feel their music has a certain quality to it that isn't typical of pop music.

Gutterflower was a decent album too and Big Machine is a tune that sounds good loud.

Their bass player, Robby Takac, is annoying. Put some shoes on, man. Thank Gawd he made it as a rock star because if he had not... he'd still be a virgin.

This is dead on. Like dead on lol

The Goo Goo Dolls are an amazing band and I'm not ashamed to say it. I didn't think that their was people giving flack about that. The GGDS are what I aspire to be in my music and actually is the sound I go for. Best albums was definitely their older stuff but their newest isn't bad.

So many good tunes from this band from Buffalo, NY
  • Their early stuff is def the best. I have Superstar Carwash and there are some great tunes on that disc. I mean, they were signed to Metal Blade Records back in the day. Long before they figured out that pop would make them more $!
