I'm not necessarily blown away by any of my KOL albums on vinyl.

The reissue of OK Computer is one of the worst sounding vinyls I own, but my other Radiohead stuff is great sounding.

Does anyone else that feels KOL's because of the times is not very good at all on vinyl?? It seems to have a very low, muffled sound quality. I feel like their other albums play much better, is it just me?

The only KOL I have on vinyl is Only By The Night and it sounds really good...not to mention it has "Frontier City" on it as well. I also picked up the Capitol reissue of Band of Gypsys on 180 gram red vinyl for $20 at Newbury Comics...what a deal!

Because of the Times is not a great example, coloured vinyl is not always choice and a good black pressing is advised but the red won out as a novelty I guess, when I buy vinyl I want quality not a pretty colour, record companies take note. I'd much prefer the Ltd UK vinyl version of Song for the Death to the red vinyl I have but it still plays better than the CD. I'm hoping Josh and co do a good 10th Anniversary audiophile pressing when that arrives, the coloured marbled Lullabies double is an exception and the vinyl plays awesome.

Youth and Young Manhood sounded so much better on Vinyl, still to buy the 2nd album, the new album sounded good though, U2's No Line On the Horizon sounds much better than the digital version as well.

I also happen to think that all of the coldplay LPs play really well. They have a really nice rich sound. I know some people aren't fans, but I enjoy their music, and it is best heard on vinyl IMO

My favorite CD-era vinyl album (it seems kind of pointless to mention classic 60s 70s and 80s albums, of course they're going to sound good on vinyl - don't get me wrong though, you guys are mentioning some great albums) is REM's Automatic for the People. That shit was made for vinyl, so nice and warm.

Physical Graffiti - Led Zeppelin would be the number one for me, but its amazing how much better albums sound on vinyl in general.
