I am talking about pre-ordering the super delux through the ten club.

I think it was awesome to have a chance of the set coming signed by the band..but i don't have a record player nor do i desire one so i bought me delux at best buy and scored the 3 xtra songs for RB2..woohoo!!

    I'd order through 10C again without a doubt. The only thing that was handled oddly/not quite right was the signed copies. Everything else was perfect. I don't care if BB was $15 bucks less. With tax it would've been only $5 cheaper. I'd rather order here any day and know that I'm definitely getting my order straight from the source, so to speak.

    i'd do it again, for sure... i really never thought i'd get a signed one, so no disappointment there. just happy to have it, the whole package is great!

    I plan to do it again for the VS/Vitalogy SDE if there is one. And of course the No Code/Yield.

    I would have saved $11 by buying it from BestBuy, plus gotten the free Rockband tracks... if they disclosed that they were only signing 30-40, I would have had second thoughts. I was thinking they might actually spend a day signing 100-200, but I overestimated their signing abilities.

    Would probably still bought one thru TC though for the rare chance, but an informed decision would have been better.

    Anyone who ordered from Europe though got a$$ r@ped. Seriously...

    my brother in law has it. since their drums are in no way related to real drumming, all I can do is sing... and I prefer to sing songs I like. :)

    If its a straight package with no chance of sigs, then no I wouldnt.

    Theres no point, theres being crazy loyal to the band and the club (which my order history will show) and then there would be plain crazy - why pay double?

    I think this attitude will only apply to the europeans, as if I was in the US of course we'd all buy from 10club.

    perfect for you maybe... for Europeans it has cost them almost double the selling price... customs were hitting them for $50, UPS charges, etc... it was pretty nasty.
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    anything pearl jam related, i will continue buying my gear from 10club, till the end of time.
    i still haven't received my box set, so who knows what surprise is coming to me! :)

    plus, the 3 exclusive pearl jam rock band 2 tracks, in time, they will be available for all to download.

    Yes, the European members got screwed with the fees, but I did not factor that into my response as it didn't affect me. I do feel bad for those overseas that have to deal with it.

    i weighed the want against the need, and the need won. believe me, i wanted the SD bad...but there were other expenses that we had to consider. so, i opted for the Deluxe. to my surprise, my wife ordered the SD for me as a gift when we had a bit more "extra" money. she's the best and i don't know how i got so lucky! 8-)

    Without hesitation!!....I bought 2 of this one, and new EXACTLY what I was getting and what my chances of getting a signed one were...I will buy two of each and everyone that comes our way, and will buy them all from 10C...Signed...unsigned...exclusive or non. Makes no difference to me....

    I'm completely in love with the SDE! It was worth the money and the wait . . . especially since the only offering I can currently find on Best Buy Canada's website is the Deluxe Edition CD set. Anyone know if you can buy the SDE in stores in Canada right now?

    Absolutely would buy from 10C again....although I may take a few months off from the board here, just to avoid all the CRAZIES that post absolutely ridiculous shit, speculating on the release.

    Yes, I would buy through 10c again. They have always been good in the past and the SDE was no different. I don't really care about signed editions as it is about the music for me. Hopefully the next one is just as nice.

    What some of you don't realize is that the SDE is 124.99 this week at Best Buy but next week the price will undoubtedly go up to the $200 price tag.

    i probably would have, simply b/c it's the first time they've offered something like this...and the chance at a signed copy was soooo enticing. had i known it would be 50 copies or less, perhaps not......and especially had i known they'd sell for less, and/or have other/different goodies included, again, maybe i'd rethink it. or at least, not preorder so early on, but wait and see. i ordered mine immediately in december, could've waited until march 1st, and have had some idea of the other offers. now i am a wee bit wiser for next time. i've said elsewhere, unless 10c offers something exclusive, some extra special something....for ALL 10c orders....i'll probably wait, save a couple bucks, and buy retail. i love to support the band, and i still would with a retial purchase. however, a couple extra bucks in my pocket probably makes a bigger difference to me than to the band's wallets. :D

    Honestly, I would have still bought it but I wouldn't have busted my ass to make sure I bought it the first day it was available....I guess for some reason I thought it would be a little more fanclub only, not available anywhere else.... I'm sorry but it was damned misleading to promote this the way it was AND if there are only very few autographed editions then the 10c was kinda lame the way they sold it to us... I can suck it up that I didn't get an autographed edition, it really isn't about that for me as much as I wanted to be able to purchase something early that wouldn't be available down the road for much less. and honestly if they only signed a paltry sum of editions then why even mention the autograph thing at all... it's real lame

    Wow, this is just a flat out lie. Just got back from our Best Buy and they had 3 out. The price on the box is $189.99 and am assuming it will go to that soon.

    I agree. Not a lot of places local to me would carry this. There is a Best Buy across town, but I'm not taking my chances in not getting it. I could special order from HMV but it'd probably take another 6 weeks after the release. For me to buy retail I'd have to dole out pretty near the same price I paid from 10C which is about $250 total. ($140+$30S&H = $170US --> $235 CDN + $15 UPS) (HMV was $219 + tax = approx $248) so all I would've accomplished going retail would be waiting. As for the Rockband tracks? Useless to a Wii owner.

    I could care less about the signatures - its an added bonus if you get one - but I'm not buying from 10C expecting it or even thinking I might actually get one of the signed ones.

    I'll buy from the 10C for all that they do for the members. The band gets a bigger cut when we buy direct from them and 10C makes a few extra $ to help keep them afloat. Without our continued support, 10C might not exist and our fan club ticketing would suffer. Thats my reason for buying from 10C and why I'll continue to buy direct from 10C.
