I meant to show I was referring to the check mark for a thread you are subscribed to----i thought that was the same as the star thing. If not, oops. Ma' bad!

don't worry you're not the only one..I thought that too as well..
i never subscribed to threads so I read it as 'replied' and thought "but there's a star!" :roll:

I miss lots of those things too...so I hardly even come anymore..

aha, i see....and no, two different things. the asterisk now simply shows you replied to a thread. the checkmark i am referring to on the old board was for threads you bookmark (tho there also was something that showed if you replied to a thread too).....so you could easily see your bookmarks right on the board if the thread was still on the first couple pages.


and yes, i do bookmark many threads. threads that have been around forever but do manage to get buried pages back that i occasionally like to revive, and most especially during tourtime, i like to bookmark threads about shows, pre-parties, cities i am planning to attend and all for info, etc. it's great to be able to still do that even here.....just go to your user profile to access. definitely good since we can no longer look up thread titles by users.

i edited my profile yesterday? it should be working. you get to it by the main site not the chat board. list the URL as your website and it will give you a 3w button.

but yup, i see you still can't edit your siggy.

That's the thing now, if were are now required to pay to post than at least they can fix the html coding or XML or whatever coding error is causing this thing.

go to your user profile.
somewhere in there, there is the choice to block sigs. you must have yours on block.
however, it IS there.

i DID reply to this, not sure what happened to it. thanks, i found it and it works. not i have to change mine and fix up my profile a bit.

haven't seen marcelle in a while, hope she's well.
