I haven't watched "Unplugged" in a looong time, I had it on a VHS, that was grainy with said track number on the bottom. Anyway, watching it last night Ed looked like a baby to me! Seriously he looks like's he 13 years old!

For example if there was no better source? Do you have the 31/12/1992 CD that came with 10C Avocado, it's not the best quality. I'm sure the Momma-Son tape won't have the best sound. It's better to have something that nothing though!

I think it does, but I'm not sure. I "watched" it last night meaning I watched a couple of songs and fast forwarded to some parts I just wanted to see (ie "We belong together", Porch jam). I was really tired after watching Lost (read: flipping through the PJ composition book) but I don't think there was the banter where he says the thing about them having rules about no cursing, but no rules about no thrashing and then he says this would be the song to do it on. I might have just missed it because I was fast forwarding. I'm sure someone will set us straight.

No banter and the songs are not in order of performance. For example, during E Flo you can clearly see the exclamation points on Ed's wrist from "Pro Choice!!!," even though he doesn't write that on his arm until Porch, which comes after :ugeek:

Lets say that the remixed and remastered Ten had an altered version of Release, with the lyrics no longer referring to anything to do with his father, wouldn't you feel that should be disclosed before you buy it?

Agree 100%. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the SUPER DELUXE. But "Unplugged" being: a) out of order, b) incomplete with missing banter and missing "RITFW" c) edited so an ex-wife isn't mentioned... well, that is just lame.

This is an interesting debate. If Ed doesn't want his personal life aired, then why does he say her name? Not only on "Unplugged", but he did it during "Not For You" on SNL a couple years later. I agree, some people pry to far into personal lives of artists/celebrities they admire. But if you're going to release the damn thing, release it! If you thought you were purchasing a copy of Michelangelo's Statue of David, wouldn't you be pissed if he had an 18-inch wang instead of the original normal-sized one?

1. RITFW is on Touring Band and, I think Immagine so why could they get the rights for those but not Unplugged?
2. I'm fine with them editing out the Beth banter if Ed feels weird about it now. But why edit out all the other banter?
