The Ten Club told me today that none of the signed sets have been sent.

I'll start the next rumor. Maybe they are saving them until everyone gets their initial purchase. In a couple of weeks, you could receive another box that has signatures.

It's not a rumor. I called the 10C to report that mine was stolen, and during the course of the conversation, the guy I spoke to said that none of the signed sets were sent out yet.

it's a rumor as much as anything else here. there is a guy in another thread on this message board saying that he got an email from Santos saying that ALL pre-ordered box sets had been shipped.

  • Hey no luck in Syracuse, NY either my wife and ordered sets. Nuthin.
Of course I have no idea as to where to look for the sigs either.
    Cheers

  • Would be pretty funny if none of them were signed and all this conflicting info is a way of throwing everyone off

I received my box set today. No sigs, but also no non-redux Ten LP. I only got the 2 DITP LPs and the Ten Redux LP.

Either my box set is missing a vinyl or I got a signed version and they are shipping just the signed LP component separately.

Who knows. But I do want my missing LP. It would be nice if it were signed :-)

    Anyone else missing a record?

Did anyone try to download the digital version of Drop in the Park yet? I didn't know they were offering this until I took out the LP's out of their jackets and found the note. You go here...

    http://www.myplaydigital.com/pearljam/

and enter the unique code you got. When I tried to download it there was just a readme file that said "Your zip file is currently being processed. Please allow up to 72 hours for your zip file to be ready for use."

Does that mean the download isn't available yet and I should try again later? This concerns me a bit since the note with the code said "This download is available only once, so download accordingly!" I would hate to go back to that page and not be able to download it.

I emailed their support about this and they replied saying that the site is screwed up and they're working on it. They said they'd reply again "shortly" to tell me how to re-download the songs

Got my box set today (Monday). If it were signed where would they sign it? For a while I thought the "Composition notebook" was signed since it looked like a signature with the number 11 circled. Is everyones like that? On the bottom right corner of the composition book cover under Rock Produktion there are 2 white boxes. On mine the top white box has someones signature and in the box below that is an 11 circled. I assume that's the same on everyones?

Here is what mine looks like...

again, tenclub has said you will know right away if your set is signed. im guessing if you are unsure or are questioning at all, its safe to say it isnt signed. im blown away that not one has surfaced yet though.

a side question, did some of you actually buy two sets, one to keep sealed? this isnt even limited edition is it? that just seems plan crazy!

  • i'm bummed - i was worried i wouldn't be home for delivery and would have to stalk UPS for the foreseeable future - then i get home at midnight to find it sitting on my porch where anyone could have picked it up - then i open it and see no sigs anywhere - BUMMER!!

the box is sort of fabric-ey though - would they really have signed it on that surface??

come on though - they could have let one guy sign each and spread the love around - yeah we'd all covet the eddie ones but at least i'd feel a tiny bit special with even a boom signature

where's dave krusen these days?? - i bet he'll sign it for me

    :(
  • Pre-ordered mine as soon as it became available. Received it last week.

Park download tells me it's not available and so far as I can tell nothing is signed.

Beautiful set though, worth every penny.

  • For the record mine wasn't signed either...

...and it still feels better than the best Christmas I've had in years... rocked the two versions of Ten the entire 10 hrs of work last night...

...gonna head down and watch Unplugged now...

...not only was it worth every single penny, but I just keep thinking about how excited I am to drop more pennies on packages like this, hopefully, for the other albums also...

That's bullshit if they didn't send the signed copies out yet... ...actually...typical.

I downloaded the DIP no problems...

Same deal. Waiting on a resolution. If anyone hears anything on this issue please let us know.

    Thanks in advance

My assumption is if anything was signed, it was probably those large, heavy stock liner notes that came in the large envelope.

Regardless, I have morePJ shit than I know what to do with now! Framing the huge subway poster is gonna cost me enough.
  • I received my unsigned copy of the super deluxe Ten yesterday. It is fricken cool...

...Thanks PJ, the packaging is quite impressive. Can't wait to see what VS and Vitalogy will be like...

    me too! :D
definitely would've been cool to have it signed, but it's a beautiful package. i can't wait to give it proper attention over the weekend. 8-)

i will say, next time around unless there is something extra special offered with EVERY purchase, exclusive to 10c, better than anything you can get elsewhere.....i'd go with a retail purchase. none the less, no regrets....love it and will enjoy it!

I brought the Ten remixed to work today to rock out while doing taxes. Thats the one great thing about my job - they don't complain about stuff like that!

Got mine yesterday. I only watched Unplugged at this point. It flowed well with the small edits. I didn't even miss RITFW really. It was a quick set, sounded sweet.

AGREED! man, the Unplugged DVD and Drop in the Park LPs made that set totally worth it. I'm extremely impressed with all the love and hardwork it took to make this set for fans. I am quite tired of seeing all the 'yeah but' threads popping up.

got mine yesterday as well, nothing signed, unless they slipped it in somewhere that I didn't look yet. I'm guessing they would have signed the very front if anything. And I'm sure you would know if yours came without being plastic wrapped.

Awesome packaging though, can't wait to go through it in more detail later.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

  • really of all the die hards who are checking this board no one has received a signed set?

    maybe only ten were signed
  • gfrasergfraser Posts: 686
at this point i think its pretty fair to say that very, very few where signed. maybe this will become the new reenk roink? isnt there supose to only be 10 of those as well?

I'm an accountant too. Doing taxes all day. They don't have the balls to complain to somebody who works 15 hour days. I guess being able to listen to Pj while we work is a small trade off.

I'm saving the vinyl for the weekend, but there's plenty of good stuff to tie me over until then. I am really excited about a live show on vinyl.
