Just wanted to announce....we had our first son on Friday and named him Vedder. Thought it would make a cool name.

    Didn't someone else on this board name their baby Vedder too?? I thought I read that before.

    Last names have been converted to first names for a very long time (Cameron, Fraser, Graham, Taylor, etc). Vedder isn't really that "out there".

    It's not the parents that have to live with the name. It is the kid.
