have to admit, the dust bunnies and dog hair tend to build up in the summer, b/c who in the hell wants to be INDOORS, cleaning...when you can be OUTSIDE? :P luckily, i am a very neat, clean-as-i-go type...so the house doesn't need to be condemned...yet....;)

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
I'm just hoping the rain stops long enough so that our plane will leave the gate and I get home to start my weekend. I really do not want to be stuck at Philly airport longer than I have to. :(

Sun: Astros game (hoping for another win!), out to dinner & a movie with my wife!
went to Vegas to celebrate my oldest's 21st b-day-- Damn I feel old. Not really
It was a fun time. We were supposed to celebrate at midnight on July 31st with shots at a bar but he and his friends were at the pool too long drinking in 180 degree weather so they could not even get up!
So I'll just lie down and wait for the dream Where I'm not ugly and you're lookin' at me
I'm being pulled/shoved/forced to spend two nights camping out seeing Phish.
Their excellent musicians, but I just don't deal well with all the drugs. Everyone seems so messed up when your sober. Plus their 30 minute psychedelic escapades often cause me psychic pain.
Although, I am seeing them at The Gorge so it will be a beautiful place, I'm just anxious around huge crowds of people, unless they are Pearl Jam fans.
Friday: Not a lot. Big Brother eviction and bed.
Saturday: BBQ and drinkies, with friends we rarely see, in Birmingham.
Sunday: Clean house, food shopping and general Sunday laziness.
I know it's not the weekend but on Tuesday I will be crying into a bottle of Merlot while everyone else goes to Shepherds Bush
