If you don't like it, don't buy it. They can do what they want as far as I'm concerned.
But as others have pointed out, they ARE a skating and surfing company, and the band members DO skate and surf. So it makes some sense, right? It's not like they coming out with the TEN edition Victoria Secrets G-String w/ the Stickman logo on the front (that would be kinda' nice, though).

I refuse to wear clothing that has the name or logo in plain site. I refuse to advertise for a multimillion dollar corporation. Just my own rant about fashion....I could care less who puts out their T's. I do however loathe those who wear volcom, hurley, roxy, etc....My friends brother is in some band that is sponsored by Volcom...They have some famous x game dude in the band....Jack Endino maybe?

I know where you're coming from... and that's cool.
But, logos are everywhere. If you wear any type of athletic shoes, chances are... there's a logo on it. And Levi 501 jeans have a tag and a patch. Hell, even Dickies work shirts have a Dickies name tag sewn on. And Tony Hawks stuff has his name or logo on them. And i have a closet full of Pearl Jam T-Shirts with giant 'Pearl Jam' logos on them.
Personally, I don't mind wearing stuff with logos on them as long as they do what they are supposed to do... keep me warm and dry. I don't go out looking for specific types of clothing... but, if I happen to find something on a clearance rack that has a logo and it's cheap and it fits and I want it.. i'll buy it.
    ...
I also like to wear Team Jerseys... like I have a Johnny Unitas and Bart Starr jersey... not because I like the multi-million dollar NFL... but, because I like Johnny Unitas and Bart Starr.

Not for nothing, but I would think Pearl Jam/10c could easily be considered a multimillion dollar company, they just make and promote music and not skateboards or clothing.

I'm sure the young Ed that was in the early Volcom videos would sure be mad today

Volcom has always been the most "core" of all clothing brands that have come from that scene. He's always wearing Volcom clothes anyway. (As does Mr. Cameron)

At least the brand is something Ed can relate with and support. Ed surfs, Jeff skates and snowboards, sounds like a good match to me. Ed's probably friends with Woolcott and Tucker who own Volcom. Most of Ed's surf buddies probably ride for Volcom as well.

arnt hurley and quicksilver bother owned by Nike?
Quiksilver isn't, they actually own a lot of people - DC shoes, Lib Tech, Gnu, Roxy, Rossignol, & Dynastar.

Hurley is owned by Nike though.
