Great read, so far. I haven't gotten to the movie reference.

EDIT: Interesting reference on the movie. Hopefully something great is in the works. If anyone can do it, I think Cameron Crowe has a great shot.

Q: Where are you favourite places to tour?
Mike: I love England a lot.

    Pdalowsky, wake up!
Jeff: Europe is certainly on our radar right now and were still trying to figure out how to sanely tour there at some point in the next 18 months. A lot of its gonna depend on how quickly we finish up our new record.

    Pdalowsky, wake up!

Great read! Love reading their thoughts on the old days.

    That is a great read.
I was surprised they said their favority songs came from the Ten- Vitalogy era.
And I love that Oceans was one of thier favorites, now they just need to play it more.

Well, I agree that their songwriting was better in that era. The arrangement of the songs are much more interesting than the faster, more punkish take they have been into in recent years.

    Great article :D

But I gotta ask, has the author ever heard of using consistent punctuation? Or did he just text the article in?

That was a very frustrating read if you're anal retentive regarding punctuation marks in a non-message board setting :x

You need to consider who the interview was conducted with.

No kidding. A lot of PJ fans are like that psycho ex-gf everyone has. You're like "Wow, they opened a cool museum in San Diego" and she's out the next night telling her friends "Oh my God! He's taking me on a vacation to San Diego to propose to me in the new museum! I'm so happy!"

Stone: Nothing Man. I didnt write it. Jeff Ament wrote it, Dave Abbruzzese plays great drums on it.
Woow did i read that right? Something positive about Dave A. Finally the band seems to realize how amazing he was. Maybe going through their back catalogue helped :D

That really was a good interview! Nice!

The fact that they list Alive & Evenflow so much though...makes me think they're never, ever gonna see rotation in and/or out of the setlists... Oh well. Cool interview. And yeah, good to see Stone said "Dave played great drums"????? Shocker.
