Thurs & Friday night shows in Camden???? I find that alittle hard to believe. Especially since most shows in recent history in Camden have been weekend shows.... could the dates actually be for Philly shows???

I was thinking the same thing... a weeknight show in Camden would be bizarre. Here's to hoping the venue is wrong and they will be at the Spectrum or the Wach.

PJ's Camden shows have always been on weekends, but other bands (eg, DMB) often play there on weeknights. We'll see...

dates are dates are dates when it comes to touring. If the past few have been weekends then I'm sure it's coincidence. You can't expect that every time.

I don't think it has been coincidence that PJ has played in Camden (basically central on the east coast) on holiday weekends during the last tours. Just saying that back to back nights in Camden during the week sounds alittle weird... not doubting the source.

The souce is 100% reliable. Outside of the band or someone else at the 10 Club, it comes from the top. And yeah I know it is weird being a Thurs/Fri and not a Fri/Sat.
If they play Philly, I will need to sample some Philly cheesesteaks before the show/s. Who has an opinion on the best one? Genos, Pats, other?
Pat's, but Geno's isn't far off.
Camden I '06, Camden II '06, Bonnaroo '08, Camden I '08, Camden II '08, Philly Spectrum II/III/IV '09, MSG I '10, MSG II '10, Made In America '12, Wrigley '13, Brooklyn II '13, Philly I '13, Philly II '13, ...

Opinions vary wildly on that. My advice: go to Pat's and Geno's. They're right across the street from each other, and that area will give you the true experience.
Once you're there, flip a coin...

I'm kind of glad. As much as the all-day tailgates are a great time, I kind of like the idea of going from work to the show and having some energy in the tank...

Steve's Prince of Steaks apparently won the most recent competition, but it's far from the venue.
Trying both Pat's and Genos is a good idea. I've done it.

oh crap! I'm from Philly ( now living in Chicago ) and I vowed to go back for a Camden show if they played again since they haven't played since I moved. Butttttt I'm going to roo the weekend before and starting a new job at the end if April. There's no way I can ask for that time off so close. Darnit!

That's why I held off on Roo. I was fairly confident more dates would be announced.

Oh man, if these rumors are true, June will be a great month! Camden the week before MSG....maybe a DC in the works, a Boston, Hartford, etc..
Oh, please let this all be true

I don't know where this confirmation could've possibly come from...but I am choosing to whole-heartedly believe it.
So thanks for bringing a smile to my face.
And thanks in advance for breaking my heart when it turns out to be untrue...
Everything you've imagined...needn't be stuck in your mind.
When they played in Camden in 2006, I went over to Philly for lunch and tried a cheesesteak at a place called Campos. It was sooooo good!
