Look, the 10C said that "random" sets will be signed. As much as I want to think that most WILL be signed, the reality is that 10C probably set aside a hundred or so to be signed and they will be put in random boxes, no specific order or anything. The last person to pre-order might get one and the first pre-order won't. Keep your fingers crossed. We didn't spend $140 bucks hoping to get a sig. We spent it for the contents. At least I did.

for the record, the status was changed AFTER the pre-sale had ended,...

Yeah, the actually audio/video material is most important stuff. All the other stuff seems to be fluff. But the potential of getting one signed is too cool to pass.

Listen. I don't know whether you're convincing yourself of this, or would just like to convince other people of this. I'm really not trying to be an asshole, but would everyone please stop suggesting this idea? It's just setting people up for disappointment - and the more people that say this, the easier it is to believe it. I think it'd be best to leave this out of your head, so that when they come for some, or most, people unsigned - no disappointment. Similarly, if you do happen to open it and find that it's signed, it'll be that much more exciting.

Sounds like a good plan to me. I will assume that random means random and that random sets will be signed.

Just because I hope for a signed one doesn't mean that is why I bought it. I would have bought the set regardless. It will be like Xmas morning when it arrives!!

I can just imagine what will happen:

People will receive them in the mail.....someone here will do a survey, and no matter what % of the sets were signed, someone will complain that they were cheated. The logical people will post the definition of the word "random", and then remind people that the notion of all the sets being signed was created by the wishful thinkers here!

But still, people will still complain!

completely agree with you. It's better to be pleasantly surprised than disappointed. I'm not gonna lie and say the prospect of getting a signed copy wasn't a big part of me buying it on release. Money is honestly really tight for me so I was gonna wait for a sale and pick it up later on but as I've said the chance for a signed copy was too good to pass up. Regardless of whether mine ends up signed or not I'm gonna open it and enjoy it.

Yeah it seems like a lot of people are assuming they will all be signed....I can already see the complaining now...."I SPENT 140 DOLLARS.. AND BLAH BLAH BLAH". I just hope the deluxe package isnt overshadowed by people complaining about it not being signed.

That's exactly what I was thinking the other day, I was thinking about the many threads bitchin' about how their Set was not signed :? and how they spent $140 to get it signed and they could have gotten it cheaper somewhere else..

I really dont think all will be signed, I can't imagine them signing that many... it's gotta be over what at least 500?

Well evenflowman who posted on here said he talked to stone at his show and said he signed 30 or 40 so yah your right lots of people are gonna be whining about it. Aton of people probably bought the super deluxe because of the autograph opportunity - I mean I can't blame them but they are gonna be really dissapointed when theirs isn't signed. :(

I bought the set through the 10C, aware that there was a chance it would be signed but I am not counting on it I really hope mine is signed and it'll be disappointing if I'm not one of the lucky ones but that disappointment shouldn't lead to bitchin' about it though.... (I do think it's inevitable though)
