Were both 24, just started seeing each other and we had our first kiss last night but it was way too much tongue on her part, it took up like my whole mouth, had no room to maneuver.

How do I address this respectively? How have you handled this in the past?

Thanks team-

First of all, I wouldn't be discussing it on a message board, you need to discuss it with her :) You need to tell her gently.
These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

    Agreed.

Maybe approach it as a treat for her.

Tell her to close her eyes and let you show her how much she means to you by kissing her. If she pushes her tongue in, pull back, smile and tell her that this is her kiss, she should enjoy it.

Hopefully that'll show her how you like kisses and she'll get the hint.

If that doesn't work? Bite her tongue.

    ;)
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

:) exactly..it's not a hard thing to rectify at all. If he really likes her he'll make the effort.

Eww, too much tongue is scary. Close your mouth a little more than you normally would next time you kiss her. If you do this enough, she will probably get the hint. That worked for me with this guy I used to date. Eventually he got a lot better. The first kiss with him, though, was pretty much the worst thing ever, lol. Not a fond memory. *shiver*

    Punch her in the face.

    (I'm kidding...don't do that.)

Only in Giant Anteaters and Giraffees does one find too much tongue.

Bad kissing is something that is almost impossible to get over.

My ex was was terrible kisser. No matter what I tried she was stuck in her ways.

Did you flat out tell her she sucked? 8-)
  • Bite her tongue lol
That was to be my suggestion...that'll teach a lesson or at least make it so she won't be kissing you again any time soon, but I would imagine that ain't exactly the outcome you are hoping for
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

When she kisses you the way you like to be kissed, tell her how much you like it that way. Repeatedly.
  • Get_RightGet_Right Posts: 13,350
you need to keep your mouth shut until you find out what else she can do

perhaps that aggressive tongue is a blessing!

That's just about her only flaw. Other than that she's pretty fantastic. I keep hoping I'll stumble upon something I haven't thought of to help! :)

No, I just put up with it.

Fortunately she made up for it in other areas. ;):D

Um.....I'll leave it at that. ;)
The bus came by and I got on!!!!!
  • My wife is a great kisser but in the past I've run into a few girls like this.

Here's the trick that might help.

You can't kiss full out all the time, pull back, and do very brief kisses between barely separated lips. the trick is to keep a tiny bit of separation so if there's tongue she won't be thrusting it out as much. You've just got to sell it like it's sexy.

But yeah, otherwise too much tongue is never a bad thing. If she was scraping your tongue with her teeth, that would be a BAD sign ;)

ha...I don't know..I just have reservations about someone posting a thread like this...it's like okay, talk to HER about the problem and could you imagine if she was a member of the board and saw this? :? Nice... :?
