Heh, the only set that beat me have become the champion :D

Congrats and yes, it was tons of fun!
I was thinking about live show tourney but I guess that would be confusing and boring on the long run. I mean not to me but....nevermind...it would be way too hard to vote for die-hards like anybody on this board.

Thanks, EquallyWorthless, for the game! It was fun all the way through, and it's good to know that person I lost against was the eventual winner!

We should do it again some time! Maybe next time with a pre-determined set of rules and perhaps a few more songs. It would be interesting to see what people would select at the end if we went to, say, 10 songs rather than eight!

Thanks again to EW for organizing the tourney!

    Thanks to all for participating!

Now, let's get ready for a new PJ record and the supporting tour!!!
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

Might even be more interesting to pick full setlists with the goal from the beginning being to put together a setlist. Maybe keep this one to 4 or 5 people picking 25 songs each. That wold be fun!

Yeah, I agree with the setlist idea. One of my problems last time was not knowing whether we were picking in terms of a setlist or just a group of songs. For instance, I picked rearviewmirror second because I know it's a very well-loved PJ song...on album. But, it doesn't seem to be a favorite LIVE song.

Well it was originally supposed to be that you were just picking a group of songs but then people got in their heads that it was supposed to be a mini setlist and it kind of went from there, I had to go along with it.

Thinking it in terms of setlist was a genius idea.

Agreed. But it wasn't clear from the get-go that we were doing it that way, which would have definitely changed many of our first round picks at least.

Here is my idea for the next one:

    5 people.

26 song setlists. Picked to be a set list.

17 song main set. 6 song encore. 3 song second encore.

Must have at least 2 covers.

    Survivor style voting.

    That would be fun :)
