    LOL scb... I feel for you!!!

    While their faces may look alike, Pepper just sits on my lap at the vet and then purrs while he gets checked out. Cinnamon is slightly less inclined to behave - he didn't like the anal thermometer at all. :shock: Kitty, my 11 year old tabby, is not fierce like Nacho, but we have to put him in a pillow case and all that for a vet trip.

    As long as he's healthy and loves you, that's all that matters :)

    Getting a muzzle on a cranky cat is tough, but can be done ... channel the art of stealth! Cats are like The Borg, though - very quick to learn and adapt, so it's wise to have a Plan B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z, A1, B1, etc.

    I've tried to get 1 cat into a catbox and it took about 45 minutes and i looked like i'd been given a body massage by Freddie Krueger and Edward Scissorhands... so how Noah managed to get two of the fuckers onto his Ark is beyond comprehension.
    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    My kitties Itty and Buddah are cool with the vet. Buddah,my chunky one (ahe's got tiny legs and a big middle) hates the vet,but she's got health issues and needs a corizone shot every couple of months. I just put her in a half nelson on the vets table. Itty's alright with the vet,he just hates the car.

    I've got some oven mitts for the grill that are kinda like that and had pulled them out at my house but not had to use them. Maybe I should invest in some that reach up to my armpit though.

    The vet had a special box to try to capture him in for the sedation shot, but Nacho was too big to fit in the box. :oops:

    Got the lab result back for Nacho today & he has anemia. The vet seems worred and is going to run some more tests. Hopefully the lab still has the blood samples.

    Say a little prayer for my Nacho, please. :(

    Feline Leukemia & Feline Immunodeficiency Virus are NEGATIVE. :)

    So that's great! Only now they want to do more tests to find out what's causing the anemia.

    Perhaps entered on their own trying to eat 2 mice , 2 birds etc......

    Friday night, my twin's family called the vet for a Saturday appointment. Saturday comes, and she couldn't find the cat. Four of us were looking for that cat, but she hid very well. Meal time comes, and there's the cat. She's peeing orange, and she's had health issues. :(

    Poor kitty. Her sister died of cancer a couple years ago. Of course they rescheduled the appointment.

    Oh no! I hope your sister's cat is okay! My twin sister's cat died of cancer a few years ago and it was so sad! :(
