Nacho is adorable. Although he'd probably challenge me if he heard me say that.

    NACHO NACHO MAAANNN!!!

He'll come around. My little dog just stares at me with blind hate after a visit to the vet. But he comes for a cuddle once he's over it.
I can't go the library anymore, everyone STINKS!!

You know, I think that's a great idea. I thought about it today after the vet left. Nacho's actually pretty good about letting me give him pills. I asked my old vet about it in the past, and she said she doesn't like to do that because sometimes it will just lower their inhibitions so they're more likely to be violent. But I'll have to ask this vet his opinion about it.
:? cat's have inhibitions too?????? ya mean they'd go smash a bottle and try to stab the vet with it... and then hump his leg :D

And to those who said that's why they're dog people... ya think no dog as ever freaked out at the vet???:mrgreen: LMAO.

LOL scb... I feel for you!!!

While their faces may look alike, Pepper just sits on my lap at the vet and then purrs while he gets checked out. Cinnamon is slightly less inclined to behave - he didn't like the anal thermometer at all. Kitty, my 11 year old tabby, is not fierce like Nacho, but we have to put him in a pillow case and all that for a vet trip.

As long as he's healthy and loves you, that's all that matters :)

I've tried to get 1 cat into a catbox and it took about 45 minutes and i looked like i'd been given a body massage by Freddie Krueger and Edward Scissorhands... so how Noah managed to get two of the fuckers onto his Ark is beyond comprehension.

My kitties Itty and Buddah are cool with the vet. Buddah,my chunky one (ahe's got tiny legs and a big middle) hates the vet,but she's got health issues and needs a corizone shot every couple of months. I just put her in a half nelson on the vets table. Itty's alright with the vet,he just hates the car.

You two crack me up!

I've got some oven mitts for the grill that are kinda like that and had pulled them out at my house but not had to use them. Maybe I should invest in some that reach up to my armpit though.

The vet had a special box to try to capture him in for the sedation shot, but Nacho was too big to fit in the box.

Got the lab result back for Nacho today & he has anemia. The vet seems worred and is going to run some more tests. Hopefully the lab still has the blood samples.

Say a little prayer for my Nacho, please. :(

I have no idea, but I suppose I'll be finding out. I'll let you know.

Feline Leukemia & Feline Immunodeficiency Virus are NEGATIVE. :)

So that's great! Only now they want to do more tests to find out what's causing the anemia.

I hope your cat is OK!

Friday night, my twin's family called the vet for a Saturday appointment. Saturday comes, and she couldn't find the cat. Four of us were looking for that cat, but she hid very well. Meal time comes, and there's the cat. She's peeing orange, and she's had health issues. :(

Poor kitty. Her sister died of cancer a couple years ago. Of course they rescheduled the appointment.

Oh no! I hope your sister's cat is okay! My twin sister's cat died of cancer a few years ago and it was so sad! :(
