wow, you are certainly persistent. what is up with you? i was trying to be nice and end things on a friendly note - guess you weren't up for that. what started out as a simple request for Seattle sites has become something unpleasant b/c of you. have you noticed that no one else has mentioned anything about this except you? you are the one who took it the wrong way and has turned this into something weird and obsessive. Lord knows i never said anything about "hunting him down", or not "giving the band members the privacy they deserve", or thinking it would be ok to "stroll down and visit Ed's house", etc. for whatever personal reason this has really struck a cord with you - seriously, i'm sorry for you getting so outraged by this. but now, i am getting defensive b/c i don't appreciate the personal attacks. time for you to back off and let it drop. you don't know me and thankfully we will never have to communicate again. never expected someone to have this kind of reaction. i don't want to waste any more time debating this with you. let it drop and be done with it! i truly, honestly hope you have a happy life. the end. done.

for the record, i didn't make a single personal attack against you, and i invite you to confirm this by reviewing all of my previous posts in this thread.

as Mrs_Vedder78 pointed out, asking for Ed's home address isn't the sort of comment that would go unnoticed, hence my "really?!" reaction,...perhaps you weren't aware, but the Forum Rules and Posting Guidelines thread clearly mentions that the band's personal lives are private - i believe your request for Ed's home address would fall under that category of "personal lives are private", and my intention all along was to explain to you that discussing said subject matter is inappropriate here. it's unfortunate that you took it so personally,...
To quote the 10C from Newsletter #8: "Please understand we have a lot of members and it is very hard to please everybody. If you are one of those unhappy people...please call 1-900-IDN-TCAR."

someone else mentioned the EMP. last year when i went it was a hendrix exhibit, with journals, etc. the dylan one was gone.

but... they do have a whole section of pearl jam ames posters, the off ramp sign with a blurb about pj's first show and some other stuff. one of kurt cobains guitars is there, in the seattle section.

aside from the pj stuff, there is just so much awesome stuff there. definitely worth a few hours of your time,.

they don't allow photos, so these were all taken on the sly, not the best quailty...

Uhmmm...I think the Jimi Hendrix exhibit is permanent given the name of the museum is Experience Music Project (the Experience being his band and most of the $$$ coming from that arena)....

And I think someone joked about asking for Ed's home addresss i.e it was not a REAL request... Lighten up. We all try too hard to protect him...he's got his own stuff in place for that...Stalking is when you find the place, you drive back and forth in front of it everyday or leave messages in the postbox three or four times a day...or phoning you a lot and leaving you nasty messages or yelling at your parents (yes, I've had a stalker)...

Phil Collins owned a house near where I lived and sometimes we'd walk by and say "ooooohhhh! There's Phil Colin's house"....didn't make me a stalker...

Everyone say it with me - PIKE place market - it is not plural, and it is great place to check out local flavor/art...

    Its really nice :)
We went last year on April and it was very very windy, we were siting on the benches right next to the big windmill tower things and you could hear the sound coming out of them.. it was so neat, it sounded like ghosts..

Just got back from my first Seattle trip. It was cold, rainy and snowy but I did get a few Pearl Jam sites in. Went to the Easy Street Records in West Seattle--$20 cab ride from downtown-$1.75 on the city bus. Saw the Crocodile Cafe--still working on it. Saw the Showbox. For people who have never been these are such small venues it really is amazing how lucky people have been to see Pearl Jam at these places. I was disappointed that there were not any or very little Pearl Jam/Nirvana items in stores or shops I mean I know they were bigger a decade ago but I expected to see some signs of their influence. I did see the Ten mural at the Easy Street on Queen Anne. Went down to the Pike Street Market where the first Starbucks is and the fish market as well as some great little shops and restaurants. If you like cheese go to Beechers.
