I think they should keep the lottery! I have a high Ten Club # and winning the lottery would be my only shot at getting a chance to sit in the first few rows. Who cares if you have to sit 4 rows further back? I think it is fair to give every Ten Club member a chance.
I want to know what ticket I need to get up on stage and jam out with the band on "All Along the Watchtower."
When do we talk about that lottery

I went to 5 shows on the last tour. I have a good 10C number. I didn't win the lottery once and I couldn't care less. The thought of winning was enough to pump me up. I loved reading stories of people with numbers WAY worse than mine who got lucky and got up front or near the front. It totally changed the level of excitement in the front section. I still ended up with good seats. I don't really care if I never get front row...I know what the boys look like and I am going for the music and the overall experience. Too much emphasis is placed on how close you get. Why? Does being able to see what brand of shoes Jeff has on actually improve your experience?
Bright eyed kid: "Wow Typo Man, you're the best!"
Typo Man: "Thanks kidz, but remembir, stay in skool!"
The closest I've been is Row 5. I've moved up every year. Why not give those like myself, who have been in the club a long time, front row tickets once? Then, you can put someone in front of me. I mean, I'll make due, but why should someone new get to be up front in the 1st row when I've never been front row?
That hardly seems fair.
I have never seen the band live yet....I saw Ed with my wife in Toronto but not the band......personally I will be happy to just be there no matter the seat location. Close to the front would just be a bonus.
What are the honest chances of getting tickets through 10C? Didalot of 10C members not get tickets? Is it a tiny window in which you must get in to secure those seats.....what should I be prepairing for?

It's too bad that not everyone can have an opinion like you. I totally agree with you. I sat in like the 50th row for Mansfield 1 in 08 and had a blast. Granted I purchased through TM, but the music was plenty loud to hear. The monitors help with seeing the band up close. I would love to sit up front just like anyone but it's refreshing to hear someone like yourself who has been to a few shows and seems to have decent seats regardless not being selfish about the lottery. You're a dude, my friend.

Depends on which show you want to go to. And if they have fixed their server to handle the pounding of a ticket sale.
Last year when I bought MSG tickets is was the most dreadful experience!! Because the site kept having issues it took me about 45 minutes to know that I had secured tickets.
Meanwhile the Florida shows last year had tickets for a couple days if I remember correctly.
I hope they do not have a lottery for tickets on next tour if u are not lucky enough to hit the lottery I think it will cost about 5 rows on your 10c number
Hold up.... How could making 4 rows random cost people 5 rows???? It will cost you 4 at the most, and thats only if every person to win the lottery had a higher ten club number than you. The avg fan would be pushed back 2 rows.

I was talking about the people in first row. What you are talking about are the people in the second row...

Lol -- I think you need to get a proof-reader for your retorts -- unless this was meant to be ironic.
