Come and celebrate the re-release of "Ten" with us! We'll be playing the entire album front to back, including some Ten-era bsides for our first set! Then stick around as we rock you for the 2nd set with all of the other classics and rarities that you may desire to shout out at us! Hecklers welcome!

    Is anyone else here sick of these sub-par tribute bands making quite a few bucks because of Pearl Jam's amazing songwriting?

    This should not be a forum for a bunch of wanna-be's to advertise to their target audience. It's absolutely ridiculous. They're making money playing Pearl Jam's music!!!! Seriously...moderators?

    I see playing in a tribute band as an opportunity to meet plenty of other fans who share the same passion for a band that I have, and to have a night of a lot of fun, singing and dancing along. For me its about playing the music I love for other people who love the same music. And to the other factor that'll be questioned here: Yes I am also in an original band who's played with Weezer, Live, Toad The Wet Sprocket and many others. I do the tribute for fun!

    What does it matter to you in the first place if you don't mind me asking? Ignore the post if you don't like it. Other people here do enjoy seeing us and would probably be excited to see us performing Ten in its entirety. And for the money issue - everything I make just gets circulated back into the economy whether it be for dinner and drinks at the bar, or to buying more gear to try and emulate the sound even better.

    But seriously - if you don't like my post - ignore it, pick a fight with someone else....it's totally not what my first post was designed to do. Go to another post you don't like...ignore this one.

    I am a serious and dedicated musician that has spent years learning and honing my craft. If you think for a minute that I would put all of that aside to sit down and learn a bunch of songs that someone else has written, then you obviously don't understand the dedication and passion that goes into being a 'musician'. A tribute band is the lowest of the low. They make a wedding band look like the cream of the crop.

Geez buddy you're from the new jersey area- all there is around here are cover bands and tribute bands....figured you'd lighten up about them by now....or is it the fact that original bands don't have a shot and most good venues in NJ because we're not cover bands. I know, I'm playing on both spectrums....but again, not happy with the post - ignore it and move on.

    Ill try to be there! It isn't PJ but it's pretty much the next best thing. And it makes you even more hungry for when PJ does actually tour. Also it's a good time.

    And to all the haters.... seriously who cares, if you don't like something leave it alone. For example, I hate Walmart, simple answer, I don't go there. :)
