    and the dark knight was finished a fair bit before his death, and i remember seeing an interview with heath talking about it and possible oscar, i think from the Toronto Film Fest, but i can seem to find it.
    so why, when he died, were they talking about other actors finishing it off... like Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell were mentioned???

    The Joker was also supposed to appear in the next Batman movie, and there was some buzz about whether they'd drop the character or try to find somebody to fill Heath's role.

    I didn't know Brad Renfro was dead.

    I knew he was going to get it. It was touching to see his family up there accepting the award. I didn't see the movie.
    These cuts are leaving creases. Trace the scars to fit the pieces, to tell the story, you don't need to say a word.

    lol..no I'm not a cavedweller just don't go to the movies much. :P Of the clips I saw, he seemed to deserve the award.

    I thought he was great as the Joker, but he didn't deserve the Oscar. I'm no movie buff and I thought the performance itself was pretty average, for Oscar consideration. I understand he kinda reinvented the Joker, but wasnt the award for acting? Jack Nicholson's Joker was as good. Hell, I woulda gave it to Michael Caine for his Alfred.

    Where did you hear that? As far as I know the story isn't even written yet, let alone a cast of characters confirmed.
