so I had an interview today for a job I'd actually like... they said they'll be letting everyone know tomorrow either way... I'm pretty sure it went well but she asked some strange questions that I hadn't prepared for (and I've gone through millions of web sites of interview questions) but she did call me on one of my answers and asked 'are you cancer?' :? which I am... so I think she may be using a different method to the normal ones... I'm just hoping she likes cancerians :oops:

thanks... lol, she did have a bit of a poker face when i replied yes... so maybe her ex was cancerian or something. Also she asked how I keep myself organised and I said how I always have a pen and paper and she replied 'oh you're a LIST person' like I was a nazi so seriously, who the fuck knows... my potential immediate boss was sitting in on the interview though and she seemed really nice.

lol, indeed... well the place I went... they have two pretty similar jobs up for grabs at the mo.. I applied for both and was rejected for the other cos they didn't wanna be interviewing the same people for both jobs, which, imo, may have been easier for them :oops: so I'm ASSUMING this girl thought she was going for the other one somehow... even though they were pretty clear with the info on the job etc. when they offered me the interview so that's pretty inexcusable :oops: I don't think even I'd make that mistake lol.

That's a bit poo... and quite unprofessional if they told you they would tell you today :?

Try not to worry though, they're probably just busy... They might still be deciding or getting the rejections out the way first and didn't have time to call the successful applicant I'd personally give it to Friday afternoon or Monday morning and then contact them if you still haven't heard

Good luck! That is a strange question though - esp. since your birthday was probably listed right on the application.

I'm not sure... surely they'd contact the successul applicant first to offer them the job, in case they've changed their mind :? but I think it just might mean they're busier than they thought or it's a tougher decision than they thought.

Good luck! Hopefully you'll get an offer which will give me hope that companies are still hiring. I've been out of work myself for like 6-7 weeks now and am beginning to think all anybody is doing right now is laying people off.

so they've just asked me back for a second interview :shock: it's with the same person in the same place so I'm gonna have to think about how to up my game for this one... and brush up on my horoscopes
