New & Improved Spectrum Speculation...
So I normally hate concert rumors because they get me needlessly excited, but after reading the Spectrum stuff on here I asked my sister, who works for Comcast-Spectacor, to put her feelers out at work and to let me know if she hears anything.
Well today she told me she asked her boss if he's heard anything about Pearl Jam coming and he said "Yeah, but I can't really give any details."
So take it for what it's worth, but I wanted to share with you guys.

Awesome! Now, if these September rumours are correct the Spectrum shows better not be the weekend in September that I have to go to a wedding.
Tell me about it i leave for my honeymoon on the 13th and come back on the 20th.
Damn. We'll here's to hoping that any September date avoids that week and the weekend of the 26th. There are only really 2 days all summer that I can't travel for PJ - two weddings.
Ill pray for both of us,lol
* nice sig
It is a little more than speculation
and thank you
I dont love rumors because they get people all excited and even if it is true a thousand things could happen that could change it but i do have what i like to think of as a reliable source that is saying three nights in september. Now i pray just as much as everyone else that this happens because i would love to see it because i would so be there
Good point, things do change. Like the fact that there was a West coast tour originally scheduled for last year that didn't materialize. Things change. Plans change.
I am going to be plenty pissed if those 3 nights in September are the weekend I have that wedding to go to. Either that or I am going ti be plenty single around Septmeber 26th

It would be really cool if Pearl Jam was the last event at the venue, but I'd be really, really happy as long as they play at least one last show there.
The show there in 2003 is still my fav PJ concert out of 40 plus I've seen.

The Spectrum '03 show was the loudest fan participation show I've ever been too..I thought the roof was gonna blow off!!

Around 5-8 miles. It's a bit of a pain in the ass, but you can take a train from the airport to center city Philly, then take the subway to the Spectrum. I'd estimate an hour and $10 each way. Check Septa.org for specifics.
There's also a Holiday Inn right near the Spectrum.
