1) Obsesses over posters of shows they didn't even attend
2) Speaks in song lyric quotes
3) Feels entitled to everything Pearl Jam, goes into convulsions if they aren't in the first 3 rows for 20 shows every tour
4) Starts a thread every week about Jamily posters, Jamily hoodies, and other Jamily things.
5) Believes that the riot act album is some sort of misunderstood masterpiece of art
Spot fucking on... as I've been trying to tell people.
If Buckcherry walked into a bedroom and saw a Jamily Person with all his Jamily stuff, they would rip all the Jamily Posters off the wall, do a line on one of the posters, get some oral from his girlfriend in the bathroom, pour beer on his vinyl collection, and then leave. And then said Jamily Person would be left alone, shattered, comforted only by his Into The Wild vinyl that was hidden in his super-secret safe place (away from Buckcherry).

If you've never seen it, you need to rent the movie the Salton Sea. It's a pretty good thriller/mystery starring Val Kilmer. More notably, Buckcherry's lead singer plays a gun-wielding drug dealer

Not me, I love it! I've been a longtime fan (sophmore in HS ''92) who:
1) doesn't own a single poster
2) doesn't speak in song lyrics (but thinks in 'em a lot!)
3) has never been in the first 3 rows (membership lapse!) (except maybe at Borgata)
4) doesn't 'post' often, and even has a *few* songs I don't care for...
Nevertheless, I love the term "Jamily" because it makes me think of: 1) Fans singing/fistpumping/chanting in unison at concerts
2) Helpin' each other out w/tix or carpooling or an out-of-town place to stay
3) Pre-show Fundraisers/ Parking Lots full o' new friends
4) Lines for New Releases at Midnight
"Don't turn away from possible futures unless you're certain you have nothing to learn from them."
But what do you think about the riot act album (point #5)?
lol, do you really care?? Love a few of the songs, not near the top o' my list tho...actually haven't listened to it in a looong time, looks like today's the day ...i'll get back to ya'

"We paced ourselves and we didn't rush through it and we tried to be as creative as our collective minds would let us be over some course of time instead of just trying to rush through a record"
I think "Jamily" is lame. Only seen it once in some article about all of us fans. Thought it was stupid when I read it and I still think it's stupid. Been seeing PJ shows since 1994 and have never heard Jamily used anywhere but in mainstream media.
As for Riot Act...track listing just to remind you all that there are some great songs on this record:
1. Can't Keep (BEST SONG ON THE RECORD...the opening of this song....love it!)
2. Save You (Not a bad tune)
3. Love Boat Captain (A sentimental favorite because of what it's about)
4. Cropduster
5. Ghost
6. I Am Mine (Come on...this is a great PJ song)
7. Thumbing My Way
8. You Are
9. Get Right
10. Green Disease
11. Helphelp
12. Bushleaguer
13. 1/2 Full (I dig this tune as well)
14. Arc
15. All or None
So it's not a total loss, nor is it, in my opinion, there worst record. And I hope my love of 1/2 Full and Can't Keep doesn't make me a PJ jamily dork.

I've never referred to myself as hot, nor have I mentioned my last name when faced with first introductions.

But it IS true in one sense... we are pretty fucking dysfunctional.

What do you think about a Christmas Single being a cover of "We Are Family," but as "We Are Jamily"?
"WE, ARE, JAAAAM-UH-LY!
I got my Pearl Jam posters with me!
WE, ARE, JAAAAM-UH-LY!
I use Mac and not a PC!"
Very ALWP!

I'm betting many of us came from dysfunctional families.... *raises hand here*
