I heard on fox news yesterday that the rancher lost in court yesterday . I think there were a total of 12 illegal aliens that were trying to sue him. 9 of the cases were thrown out but 3 won on. I think he has to pay around 76 or 78,000.00 I guess that's better then 32 million but still. what country are we living in where you can't even protect your property any more. This is so appalling on so many levels :x :x

I'm guessing there's more to this story than the illegals just entering his land, shitting, littering and breaking stuff and then leaving. He said that happens... the article didn't say it was the individuals who were sueing him who did that. Also, I like how they glossed over the fact that he KICKED A WOMAN :shock: :shock: . This is no nice old fella simply warning people away with guns... the woman who was kicked is likely to be one of the 3 who won. I'd like to know the whole story on this. I'm all for people protecting their land BUT you don't go around kicking women... EVER! Anybody who ever WOULD kick a woman deserves jail... not just a fine.

I agree nobody should kick a woman, He was interviewed on fox and that was one of the questions he was asked. and he said all he did was nudge her with his foot b/c he was trying to get her to move into an area where he could keep an eye on every one. who knows maybe he did maybe he didn't, but I still think he shouldn't have to pay a dime.

In this litigious world, you know you're taking a financial risk when you treat people like animals... now if they were in his house or in the direct vicinity of his house, I'd feel different.. I think everyone should have a right to defend their home and family... but LAND IMO is a different story, especially when you own the equivilent of a TOWN :roll:
