All I know is from 2001 - 2003 the Texas Ranges had Juan Gonzalez, Rafael Palmero, Pudge Rodriguez, A-Rod, all using steriods and we still sucked. What an embarrassing franchise. The Texas Rangers are the worst franchise in all of sports.

They needed to share the juice with the pitching staff.

I disagree with Manny. I agree with Bill Simmons, Sports Guy from ESPN, about Manny. His theory is that Manny is too goofy to ever be able to take something as regimented as steroids.

I also would like to disagree about Papi but we'll have to see.

I think Damon would be on the list considering how often he breaks down and how close he and Giambi were in Oakland. And also from the Sox at that time trot Nixon.

I would find it really hard to believe that Manny and Pujols have been juicing. But then again I would have put AROD on this list a few days ago. At least AROD had the balls to admit he did it. I really hope this list of 104 players comes out....I'd love to see who is on there.

Have the Clippers ever won a playoff series? I honestly don't know.

The Rangers are the only MLB team to have never won a playoff series. The Rays were the other one but they took care of that last year.

  • not everyone is going to be a big name, so i'll give you two smaller suspects:

Brian Giles - from 1999-2002 with Pittsburgh, his home run totals were the following: 39, 35, 37 and 38. That was from ages 28-31, so obviously the prime of his career. He also recently was involved in a case of domestic violence with a girlfriend. This same one alleges physical abuse has been the norm for their relationship

    http://deadspin.com/5112764/somewhere-i ... girlfriend

Morgan Ensberg - In 2003, he hit 25 home runs in 385 at-bats with the Astros. In 2004, he hit 10 in 411 at-bats and none until July. The following year he hits 36 in 526 at-bats. Since then his batting average has dropped considerably. Of course, maybe he wasn't that good to begin with and pitchers figured him out. But unfortunately in this and age, that's not the first thing we as fans assume anymore.

i don't know about Ensberg--and it's not because I'm an Astros fan. but it would be interesting to know why the numbers dropped.

He was named on the Mitchell Report. I think what the OP was trying to do was guess which people haven't been named yet like A Rod.

But yeah, Tejada is definitely one.

It's very depressing. Before this past weekend, I kept thinking about how excited I was for the upcoming baseball season. Now we're going to have to listen to all this steroids bullshit all year long.

Haaha greatest sport in the world hahaha

Whats the big deal about steroids? All it does is make your body recover faster. Its not like they take roids and it makes them see the ball better. You still have to practice, lift weights, put time in..etc Whats the problem?

I have to agree with Petrocs. The test results in question are from 2003 season and Howard wasn't in the majors yet and Utley was a late season callup so Howard would definitely not be on the list and its pretty unlikely Utley would be on the list.

And I'm sorry to disappoint you guys, but the Detroit Lions are worse than the Rangers and the Clippers. They've got being terrible down to a science. Shit players, shit coaches, shit front office, shit owners. Shit from top to bottom.

I have to agree with Petrocs. The test results in question are from 2003 season and Howard wasn't in the majors yet and Utley was a late season callup so Howard would definitely not be on the list and its pretty unlikely Utley would be on the list.

OK, gotcha....not on "the list" but not necessarily "never experimented."

Did y'all see how easy Tejada got off yesterday? Just a couple of reporters there to greet him. This hysteria is all media driven.

Of ALL players in MLB, you'll find that 80% who have been around since 2000 have, at a minimum, "experimented" with PED's.

The playing field is/was level, because nearly everyone is/was doing the same shit. Please quit "knowing" who is clean.

Did you just make that number up, or is there some kind of study or other reliable statistic that cites that?

I made it up! But really, this is pretty much the number cited by Caminiti and Canseco - the only two players who have been at all honest in discussing PEDs.

Oh I gotcha. I never read Canseco's books, but I think I probably will at some point. I'm just so sick of this steroid shit.

Agreed on the current state of shittiness. But they have won playoff games before. And their entire team has never been accused of cheating and then still stinking.

Keep in mind though- yes they did win A playoff game. They had one (and you could make an argument for No. 1) of the best running backs in the history of the game in Barry Sanders. And the franchise took this guy, and pretty much ran him out of the game...
