Hey guys,

My name is Adam and a young, but huge pj fan and have been on this and the old pit for a couple years now. I go to school at Penn State University and am very actively involved in our philanthropy, the Penn State Dance Marathon. This is an amazing cause in which our school raised over 6.6 million dollars last year for children with pediatric cancer.
The money that is raised goes to the Four Diamonds Fund at the Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. The Four Diamonds Fund then pays for all the treatment for families who find out that their child has been diagnosed with cancer. Every school day, 46 children in the United States have been diagnosed with cancer. However, through our efforts, the Four Diamonds Fund has never had to turn away a family in need.
Over my years here at PSU I have become attached to two children, Robbie (11 yrs old) and Tucker (8 yrs old) and their families in particular. Despite their age, I've perhaps seen more strength and courage in these two children than I have in anyone else. This year, I have the tremendous opportunity to Dance in the Penn State Dance Marathon for the kids. The marathon itself is 46 hours long with no sitting or sleeping.
I'm so familiar with the compassion in the community here on the pit and I am asking for anyone's support who can afford to help out during these times. For the Kids, I've spent hours and hours fund raising and I will soon spend 46 straight hours dancing. Please join me in the fight against pediatric cancer by donating to THON and the Four Diamonds Fund.

All donations will be greatly appreciated.

If you choose to donate and support all of our efforts and the kids. Please designate my organization, Alpha Tau Omega, as your organization of choice.

Thanks a lot for your time!
FTK! (for the kids)

As a PSU alumni member, I commend you on your efforts. I remember the days of walking house to house and standing in the streets collecting for THON. Thank you for making a difference in these kids lives and giving your energy and time.

An incredible event for a worthwhile cause. As a PSU alum and current employee there isn't anything PSU does that I'm more proud to be a part of each year. Thanks, Adam, for doing your part.
I smile, but who am I kidding...
