2009 Grammys

just seeing if anybody else is going to be watching tonight... performances from Paul McCartney with Dave Grohl on drums, U2, and RADIOHEAD (sorry, just never thought i'd see them perform at the grammys)
anyways, it should actually be a pretty good show which is surprising...

thanks Long Rd... that's awesome that they won for House of Cards, i only wish they had of released more singles from In Rainbows... pretty much every song could have been a single... and the live version of Videotape is probably what will be played at my funeral (hopefully in a very long time)....
And winning for the Boxed Package makes me happy 2 since i actually spent the money for the collector addition with Vinyl... it was a great package...
I dunno if you are a fan of Coldplay or Jay-Z (i'm actually not really a fan of either) but they are performing Lost right now and it was actually pretty damn good... then coldplay goes into another song that the name escapes my mind right now... not nearly as good

Maybe she pulled it off ok, but the 2 voices just didn't seem to jive, and what the fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coldplay just beat out Death Magnetic and OBtN for rock album?
She's been in the industry for over a decade. As a kid, I thought she was a few years older than I was.

I'm basically waiting for those two performances, but I'll glance over at the TV while perusing the internet. occasionally something bizarre will happen. for example, Morgan Freeman just came out to introduce someone, and he spoke very highly of that person, but the last name I expected to hear was "Kenny Chesney".
i hope so 2... they work so damn well toghether

ya that performance by radiohead was amazing, they did so damn well with that bad... was it just me or did anybody else notice that it was just thom and johnny... i didn't see any of the other members (colin, ed, phil) there...

it was hard to tell with all those marching band members and with the way it was filmed, but yeah, I only saw thom and jonny. the others guys weren't really needed, or would have gotten in the way, I think.
that was a badass performance. it just blew everyone else away who is just doing the same old, same old. even though the same old is nice sometimes.
was nice to see al green
ugh, can't stand coldplay. i would love to throw a pinata filled with mayo at these guys
i haven't heard it yet but a buddy told me it was great... if you don't mind, i would love the link...

ya, but i dunno, that part with jay-z i thought was great... it was just different than a normal coldplay performance... very refreshing
