oh well- he doesn't need a Grammy to tell him that he's a TON more talented than John Mayer!

The grammys has turned into a joke. I don't even remember the last year that I watched them. All the new and popular artists on the major label circuit especially in the Grammys don't appeal to me anymore. I know it's sad, and I know I probably sound close minded, but I just lost interest in the Grammys just like the MTV VMAS. They just don't give me that exciting feeling anymore. The shows seem so bland. I do still watch the rock and roll hall of fame induction though..

Didn't the Grammy's just start? I'm confused...I'm watching the Eastern feed right now and only one award has been awarded....and U2 were FABULOUS!! Any jokes that anyone is making are falling flat..and Whitney? I couldn't tell if she was under the influence - she kinda looked drunk...

Ed's category wasn't televised, so the winners were already announced

Okely-dokely.... seemed a pretty important category to not be televised but whatever...I think they're trying to make more of a "concert" out of it or something. Oh well.

I always feel like I should watch the grammys but they end up boring. I liked seeing U2, Timberlake and Al Green, but I think I'm gonna turn it off soon.

John Mayer beat Eddie AND Bruce??? I was just flipping through and stopped to watch the Coldplay performance. What is the deal with the matching jackets? At least they were different colors, but I just couldn't finish watching the whole song.

the grammy's have always been shite and this year is no different.. but good to see Robert Plant rewarded for great work but other then that what a piece of shit. Seriously mayer beat neil young, vedder, the boss and mccartney! This highlights that it's popularity versus actually being a good artist. U2 were shit as per usual but Radiohead will be a good performance.

I wanna see a Neil Young show after this...

OK, here it is again then:

One of the four nights in LA and Berkeley I can't remember which night, which city:
Someone in the audience: Fuck the oscars!!!
Vedder: Like I give a shit!

this just in...he was spotted balling his eyes out stage left...yeah right. I don't think Ed gives two rips about the Grammy's at this point in his career (or ever really).

Totally agree. I'm so surprised that people place the Grammys in such high regards. Good thing that EV sees through the BS, now the fans should too.

I think you mean "bawling" his eyes out...."balling" is something completely different...I suppose he could do either at the side of the stage....both would raise eyebrows... ;)

No offence, but what the hell is that supposed to mean? We don't know what he currently thinks of the Grammys. Like it or not, the Grammys are music's highest honour....and of course it (like music fans and artist) have changed over the years. The American Music awards are the joke...not the Grammys...
