so you met her and she was arrogant?
that's a shame. however, i would not let one person's encounter make me label her, or anyone for that matter. very surprising. i seriously have never heard anyone refer to her in such a light. whereas someone like say russell crowe you hear so much that you do see there must be some kernel of truth to it. hopefully it was an off-hand encounter.

altho as i said, either way.....may think less of her as a person, but it in no way diminishes her talent and her well-deserved accolades. same as with all i've read/heard of crowe...i still think he's brilliant. not streep-caliber, but i still love him as an actor. the 2 aren't mutually exclusive, that's for sure! sad to read of your experience tho.

i know....thus why i discussed each seperately. didn't think i was suggesting you were weighing in on her talents, at all. your first post was pretty straight-forward. i, as my usual self, was merely elaborating, taking it further. she is probably my MOST favorite actress, so hearing about her outside of her craft interests me.
