sooooo...i'd say i'm from orlando
Wow! Do you remember much from Germany? We loved it there when we visited in 2007. I can't imagine moving that much. Does that make you want to move more or less now?
i wish that i remembered more from germany...we moved there when i was 1 1/2 and moved back when i was almost 4 i think??! i have random memories about a park that we would go to all of the time and of the one time that we visited heidelberg castle. i just remember there being LOTS of snow
i tend to get anxious now when i'm in one place for about 2 years...i just want to move. there are just too many places that i want to live!! hopefully when i move to seattle in a few months that urge will subside for a few years...it's the one place that i've always wanted to live!!
Rochester Hills, Michigan...Home is heart is though...so Hazel Park, Michigan. I have lived a year or two in many places nationwide (U.S.). Hazel Park is on border of Detroit. Rochester Hills, where I now live, is about 16 miles further north.
This is the time of year I alaways ask, "why the hell do I live here?". It is so frickin' cold and we have almost record snow fall this year. Combine that with it getting dark so early, I am tempted to move every year, then summer happens. Lo ands behold, I am still here!
born in Cleveland, Ohio
moved to Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
moved to Houston, TX
moved to Emporia, KS
moved to Lawrence, KS
moved back to Houston, TX
now live in Waco, TX
so, I'm from Houston---where I spent most of my life
but I'm excited to see where my wife & I move to once we're done w/ grad school

One of the reasons I left..... that, and there economy on the east side isn't so hot.

I was born in a small town in Michigan, Garden City and then moved to Ypsilanti for a bit, and then to Detroit. Now I moved to Brooklyn to go to school.

Now - Houston. But grew up in and around Kansas City until I graduated from high school. Joined the army and lived in some pretty cool places (Ft. Lewis was an hour drive south of Seattle and I was stationed in a small town about 25 miles SW of Frankfurt, Germany). Settled in for college in Texas in 1995 and have lived here since.
Born/raised in Queens, NY
Lived in Manhattan for a while before having second son
Currently live in Bergen County, NJ with a family of 5 (plus dog and cat)
Milwaukee Wi for the first 35 years then just south of Atlanta since "91
my husband told me last evening I had the heart of a midwest girl so I guess you can take the girl out of WI but not the WI out of the girl
I do love a tavern on every corner and cows are simply adorable especially when they twitch their ears
and mooing is just sweet.... "a cow brown and white"....
Where am I from? Well, I wrote a song about it, like to hear it, here it go...
Born in a barn
Born in a swamp can’t say
But he's been a freak of nature
Since busting out his egg
Likes to loves the ladies
Hypnotize them with his eyes
Catch him with the sinners
Something new between the thighs
Coming down the road
It’s a snakeduck snakeduck
Slithering waddling
Down the road
Always finds himself a
Heap of trouble right away
Once took the Sheriff’s daughter
And rolled her in the hay
The Sheriff formed a posse
To hunt the creature down
And that’s when he learned
The snakeduck doesn’t fuck around
Coming down the road
It’s a snakeduck snakeduck
Slithering waddling
Down the road
The snakeduck is a monster
Or so the people say
Just for ending what they start
In his own toxic way
No one ever heard from the Sheriff
Or his friends
And no one ought to fuck
With what they can’t comprehend
