My grandma died last week, but she left behind some goofy memories:
Job advice to a cousin - Sell condoms, they're all the rage!
She learned to drive at 59, and was a bit heavy on the gas pedal. When a cop stopped her because she was speeding he asked her Where are You Going? She replied Away from You. After talking he felt so bad about giving her a ticket he asked if she knew someone in city hall that could get it cleared up
She used her first computer at 94. She died at 98, and was Skyp-ing relatives in Italy a week before she died, while being hooked up to an oxygen tank.
For 38 years she was a subservient wife. If my grandpa told her to do something she did it. However, it seems that instead of relying on others to do that after he died, she decided to try things out on her own for the next 39 years.
Both grandmas lived well into their 90s, and I think their strong social networks of friends, and family kept them emotionally healthy. Very inspiring.

very very inspiring, you come from good stock as my Mama would say
My mom is my biggest fan but also sometimes my biggest critic.
She saw my small photography exhibition at school and really had some nice things to say about it that made me smile!!

OMG that is awesome. Obviously not that she passed away but she had such a good long life it seems. Embracing life and never afraid to try new things...and she sounds pretty feisty That advice she gave your cousin is priceless!!
