Got into Boston University- the school I want to go to most!
Problem is it's DAMN expensive- so we'll have to see!
But getting in is 1/2 the battle, so I'm pretty excited!

this really made last evening. I sunk into the hot tub about 6pm awaiting an early arrival of hubby who joined me shortly thereafter. This very unusual, see him about 8pm most evenings. Pearl Jam was spinning 6 on shuffle, red wine in hand, I watched the bird feeders for the action that I find so very comforting. We visited and laughed with the aid of an old roach I discovered earlier in the day :) not tasty but enough to bring in thoughts. Thoughts about the sun setting, the first stars arriving, Eddie's beautiful voice and lyrics. The smell of Hubby's black and mild eased me knowing he is finally relaxed and enjoying life after another week of IL. Day turns to night, a full sky of stars. Hot tub time passed 3 hours, 2 bottles of red and a whole lot of peace. No real punchline to all this it just made my day is all. Oh and the chinese food we scarfed after was awesome :D

I met up with my best friend, we went to the Sandbar at Praa Sands where we watched the surf and surfers, had a lovely lunch and had a good catch up/gossip. We then went to the big M&S and Next for a mooch around, bought good food for lunch tomorrow and roses for my Nan and Aunt foe Easter.
Came home and watched the new Doctor Who :D:D
    Great day!!

Yesterday my daughter and I went to the garden center, our first time at her prompting, she is 24! This that is making my days, doesn't sound like much but its just filling my heart.
I've gardened, mostly flowers, since she was tiny and although she would say occasionally "who wouldn't want to live in your yard" that was about all I got. Not really interested. I'd beg she come help me plant or even see something that had just bloomed but she either wouldn't or did it begrudgingly.
Now she's renting a little house where the previous owners planted, gorgeous things are appearing and she is so taken with it. Its really like I am 24 again discovering the joy of God's World, of growing, all over again. Seeing through eyes I've forgotten. She's hungry for every name of every flower and what she can do to make it happy.
Then to make it even more fun- Just Breathe came on there in Lowes- I squealed, of course- "Its Eddie!" She jumped, and said "You startled me" with kind of a dirty look and said "where? you know that guy?" looking over at another customer. I reply "no honey, the music, it's Eddie"! I get that "Oh Mom" and she shakes her head. Then she says- "Yea I do like this song though"
    Yep, she's coming around!

Well not MADE yet but tonight my wife, daughter and I are getting our portrait done in the Detroit Red Wings locker room as part of a silent auction I won.

My 5 year old will go bonkers when she sees it as she's a big fan of the Wings :)
