    It's a cold, rainy day so I made a pot of soup. Because of the weather, my daughter and I didn't want to leave the house, thus calling for me to make what I call, "Cupboard Soup." My husband and daughter loved it so much that they were scraping the bottom of the crock-pot for more. I worked on that soup all day and it was awesome that it was so well received!

    (I used what I had on hand, so it was browned lean ground turkey, frozen corn and peas, fresh carrots, a can of Italian green beans, Herbs de Provence, salt, ground pepper, parsley, paprika and fresh thyme served with spaetzle.)

    A friend of mine stopped in town at the end of a business trip to get a day of fishing and is taking me to dinner on the company dime. Woohoo unlimited sushi! I also got the shipping notification that my second pair of Gypsy Dharma boots have shipped and are on their way finally. Pretty sweet Friday.

    Edgerton is the real MVP of the movie, though.
