yesterday my day was made when a few of my friends took me out to dinner as a "pre-wedding" celebration...good times with some lovely ladies and they gave me some cool, thoughtful (and some of them were dirty) gifts...kw was most excited by the 10C giftcard....
i had a beautiful, beautiful day/evening with a great, great friend - treated me to lunch/cocktails at uptown lounge then to the jewish museum for the chagall exhibition, oh so good, then to the art of the brick exhibition at the discovery museum in times square, then onwards to bar 44 for one of the BEST cocktails, ever - an alpine spritzer, or two and then to fig & olive for an amazing dinner with too many gifts, a solo rendition of "happy birthday" a cappella and then some more :shock: cocktails at an awesome asian lounge who's name i can't recall. all in all, a particularly memorable, VERY special, early birthday celebration. *feelsVERYspecial*

Lots of bdays around here lately! Today my day was made by an awesome 10c friend who sent me a bday present. Yay pj goodies! I was completely not expecting anything so was utterly surprised. I'm so happy to have met her at all of our shared shows. This really is a fantastic place! Thank you, PJForceofNature! You really made my day!

Going through a box of old junk. Found a ticket stub for a pj show in rapid city , South Dakota in 1998. I did not attend that show but my brother did. He mentioned to me recently that he has a poster and ticket stub for all of his pj shows EXCEPT he's missing the ticket stub to his rapid city show. :shock: how did it end up in my house in NJ (he's in Nebraska) 15 years later, after I've moved 6 times in that same period and I didn't lose it?!?! I'm so happy to have it and return it to him. I should have saved it as a surprise but of course the first thing I did was call him. Now his poster and ticket stub collection is complete! Yay !!
