    When I went to Costco to pick up my contacts, it was a madhouse, not enough people working to help all the people that needed it. I forgot to 'take a number', since I was standing at the counter that said 'pick up contacts ONLY'. I was waiting a few minutes and few people took a number so by the time I took one, I was behind people that walked up and took one.

    I was chit chatting with another lady who was in front of me, and she said she took a number 'just in case' so I told her, "I spaced it, and some people got one before me, oh well" she says, "I hate it when that happens!"

    Then someone comes over to help her, she turns around and gives me her number ticket, "here, now you're ahead of all those other people!"
