Agreed... but he's always gonna start off on a high note... while good will is still very much there... he'll probably end on a high note too if he's going for re-election, it will be the middle two years where he REALLY proves himself. Nice to see this start though

however, i fully support healthy skepticism...but i also respect having an open mind to small steps, acknowledging good, moving in the right direction. i hardly believe obama expects anything he did on day one to 'fix the economy'......ridiculous.

If anyone actually expects him to fix the economy they are dreaming. The economy will come out of reccesion when people are ready and feel confident to spend again. And I could be wrong about this but I'm pretty sure the 1 problem that he can not fix is greed and that is why people are in this mess. My wife and I both have secure jobs and are in need of a new car, but do not feel confident enough in the Detroit 3 to buy just yet and I refuse to buy a foreign made car.
