    Haskins is probably upset that he will not have an all pro RB to throw screens to and dump the ball off on to make his stats look better, like he did at OSU.

    I don't mind picking Jones. It's just where they drafted him. They needed that edge rusher

    Exactly. Even if he works out, it was a wasted pick at 6.

    I didn't watch the draft (I did last year), so thank you for the summary. 

    So bottom line is .... what did we get and which one is the QB and how good is he. Did we get any O line help?

    And how did the ownership screw up the number 6 pick?

    Yesterday was only the first round. We got a qb and traded for Seattle's 30th pick and chose a CB.

    Same.  Just like trading Beckham. Have no problem with it other than when they did it. Even if Jones end up being good, if Allen turns out to be real good, which I think he will, we will always be remembered as the ones who passed on him... maybe Oliver.  Even Williams would be a better pick at 6 IMO. Dave Gettleman's dealings are like those of a guy who would buy overpriced car parts from Auto Zone instead of getting a better deal on Ebay or Amazon, just because he wants it now.
