I can’t believe this is such a big story.....declining QB on a shit team is “benched”....BFD.
he still has 2 or 3 years left in him
Where is he playing next year?
Hopefully still with the Giants. But maybe Denver or Jacksonville. I wonder if he would consider the Jets? It will have to be a playoff ready team with a good coach but that doesn't have a quarterback.

also it's how it was handled?

they said, “you can start but we want to look at our other QB’s.” Eli said, “then I don’t want to start.”

He's not going to play a half just for a consecutive streak.

Eli deserves better than this; not that it matters to anyone but I will not watch another snap for the rest of the year.  this is a tough pill to swallow.
I am right there with you. I had my rant elsewhere, I will hold back my anger here. No class or loyalty left in my team.

  • Still can't believe Mara let this happen this way

The correct thing to do would have been punt greasy down the road. I'm not certain, but I imagine it was a real challenge for the players to take him seriously with all that brylcreem slopped on his head.

This situation is a shitty one. Week 1 or 2 Eli buggered up some clock management at the end of a half. Short of some other 'typical' errors QBs make... he's far from the problem with this train wreck.

Get a RB. Get some O-Linemen. Get OBJ back. And they're back in the mix. This move has to be deflating to the players.

i agree, I can't see an inspired team out there tomorrow. Interesting to see what the fan turnout and reaction will be. But I'm not watching. I'm out of denial and into the angry phase of grieving.

I knew Rivers was right behind Eli in TD passes. But I didn't know it was that close.

Geno Smith going after Rex Ryan at post game press conference. Eli not even throwing McAdoo under the bus.

Geno is a free agent. Unless they release Eli or he accepts a trade. I don't see that happening
