Obviously all the headlines blame Eli. And now because someone doing the close caption wrote down "penguin boy". It's another thing Eli has to overcome

Eli has to overcome "penguin boy"? Do you think he's going to spend much time thinking about it?

that's funny. i don't think the eagles thread has been dead for more than a few days, even in the off season. you're referencing one day- thanksgiving, when most people choose not to spend it on a pearl jam message board.

sorry but the giants suck just like the rest of this division...despite how "good" they looked in a loss to the patriots.

I mean, it's been pretty quiet for a couple weeks now, in general. I wasn't here on thanksgiving and don't think I posted that until the weekend.

The Giants stink, as everyone said on Sunday. Then again, we weren't puffing our chests out before the season, only to get 90 points put up on them in 4 days

yeah, i don't think so. eagles thread is always pretty active. at quick glance there were actually few posts on thanksgiving, 2 the day after, one on sunday, and a few yesterday. not sure what more you expect on a board that has seen a constant decrease in overall members the last few years. over the last few weeks there was as much or more activity there than other football team threads. even in the 4-12 season, there was constant activity. win or lose, the philly threads always seem to be more active than most other sports threads here combined.

and i don't recall much chest puffing but people were optimistic. i expected 10 wins going into camp, which i think was reasonable. the giants had lower expectations going into the season, rightfully so. most people knew the giants would suck. still it's always fun coming in here and reading up on eli's latest excuse for a multiple interception game. that is always a fun read.

That's my point, it is the most active football thread and has been more or less a ghost town the past few weeks.

Perhaps a bit of chest puffing. Find an excuse from me outside of the first one, which was clearly not his fault.

So you agree with me saying "over the past few weeks there was as much or more activity than the other football threads" and that equates to it being a "ghost town" to you. Okay.

    Good day, Clifton.

haha, well I wasn't comparing it to other football threads. Ghost town compared to usual Eagles activity.

    Good day to you, sir.

We would watch both teams every week and as a four year old I chose the "blue team" lol. I root for both though, but not today.

I think there may be a brawl during or after this game.

Stupid play call. Take the field goal and go up 13. This team is so damn frustrating all year long. I don't trust this coaching staff anymore.

I don't see a win coming up for the Giants in the next 4 games. If the Saints fire Sean Payton. We should give him a shot

    I would love that

Coughlin mages terrible decisions and doesn't inspire his team. He used to be great and now he's a detriment to the team.
