    hmm... yet there can only be at most roughly 425k members.... which can't be the true number.

    I would guess it is less than 500,000 but more than 1.

    Why not make this a 10C contest?

    Every 10C member gets one shot at guessing the exact number of members. The submissions could be accepted over a three day period. The winner gets to spend an afternoon as a fly on the wall in the studio as the band works on the new record.

    Even better! Each submission is $10 and all proceeds go to a charity.

    Since its my idea I will agree to remove myself from the contest and I will personally host the winner during the trip to the studio.

    Nice...real nice...don't you need an assistant? Since it's my idea, I will personally assist you during the trip to the studio..
