What are considered “raunchy” threads are also not allowed…and your opinion doesn't matter...the opinion of the mods do.

It wasn’t the word vagina that got that thread deleted….it was because it was asking for other names for it…and that lead to just x-rated, raunchy posts. This is not a sex bbs and it should not be used to discuss personal body parts related to or directly about sex organs.

2. i didnt start the thread, i just posted on it. and there were about 2 pages on it. so apparently im not the only one who thought there was nothing wrong with it. this is not somebody's house, it is whether they want it to be or not, a chat room. and although there are rules, they are incredibly vague and entirely up to interpretation. and like you implied, this is not the real world.
3. you have a problem with this word (eww, a part of the body), but you dont have a problem with people talking about war, politics, religion, other lightning rod subjects in unconventional way. ask one of these people from another country about this, and they will say what is the big deal. the us is one of the few countries where people are still embarrassed to have frank discussions about the human body.

1. No one said that exact thread had to be covered in the rules. It is clear enough.
2. I never said you started the thread. Just because people post in a thread doesn’t mean the mods didn’t find it inappropriate for reasons I have already told you. No, you’re technically right; this is someone’s private bbs, not their house. By design it is not a chat room, it is a bulletin board system. Yup, entirely up to interpretation…the mods interpretation.
3. I don’t have any problem with any words. You would be hard pressed to find a topic that offended me….but it’s not about me. Yes, there is a proper forum here to discuss war, politics, religion…that is in A Moving Train. Again, there is no forum to discuss sex on this bbs, nor, does there have to be. There are plenty of other bbs’s out there with no restrictions on subject matter.

Now, I don’t have to talk to someone from another country to know that the USA is WAYYYY too prude of a country. I whole heartedly agree with you on that. The whole Janet Jackson tit incident during the Super Bowl was the prime example of the fucking FCC getting too sensor happy and afraid to show a booby. However, that doesn’t change the fact they this is a privately funded and ran bbs who can make up their own rules and guidelines. And still, my point remains…there is no reason on an all ages bbs to have a thread about other names for the vagina. Now, grow the hell up and save that for the right time and place.
