I was on a trip in 1992 back from Cedar Point that took foever because we broke down a bunch of times and a I lost a tape to listen to and a friend gave me Ten and I couldn't stop listening to the first song! I took the tape and the rest is history.

I was only joking, but Ed did sing it at The Bridge School, I have it somewhere but not sure where. I'll try and upload it for ya when I get some time.

They won't fight back. I'm sure they know how. Means they love or are too proud.

I bought Ten based on having heard 'Alive'... changed my life.

I was actually lucky enough to see them live before Ten was released, so it was really the live show that sucked me in.

But song wise.. yep, Jeremy started it.... Ten took it even further, and Rearviewmirror sealed the deal.

I was about 12 years old when my sister called me to her room. "You have to listen to this, it's so cool". She was in love with this guy who was into Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins etc. So ofcourse she thought it was cool too (she was like 16 years old). I really didn't listen to the music, but hey...she's my older sister, if she says its cool....it's cool. So I asked her to make a copy. It was a a cassette with Ten, some songs from Vs., a couple of Nirvana songs and Stairway to Heaven on it.
A couple of months later I put the cassette in my player and instantly fell in love with Garden. Soon I fell in love with the rest.

Funny thing is, after things didn't work out with this guy, my sister started to call the music crap. She still thinks it sucks :-)

My first show (7/14/03) when I was 13 got me hooked.
The only song I liked before the show was Evolution, and thankfully they played it. It was the only song I came to hear. But I started digging the rest of the songs, and after I listened to the CD of the show a couple of times, I got really hooked on Corduroy.

So Evolution and Corduroy hooked me on PJ.

To me, PJ, "Ten" and Nirvana, "Nevermind" were like manna from heaven after all of the hairbands from the 80's. I was addicted to "Ten" from the get go. But "Black" did it for me. I know people say that a lot but there is a reason for it. It was like something special. "Alive" and "Jeremy" were everywhere and every douchebag knew only that. But the true fans know how great that album is. That song is the shit.

Jeremy, back in 92 or whatever...but it wasn't so much the song as it was the video. I saw it and decided to pick up the cassette. Plugged it into my walkman on a Friday night and was just floored.

I've been in love ever since :-)

Release . A friend of mine had this on a compilation tape in his car. Couldn't get it out of my head for weeks until I could afford the Ten CD.

i was very young when they first hit the scene so i didn't start getting into them until later in my life. alive, corduroy and given to fly... those type of songs really got me into them and made me want to hear more.

Studio PJ - Garden. Stolen my younger brother's tape and kept rewinding this song.

Live PJ - April 3,1994; same younger brother comes into room yelling PJ is playing Pink Floyd on the Radio (Daughter tag for that show)! I immediately threw a tape in and started recording. This was the 1st time I had heard PJ live and was blown away with how close they sounded to their studio recordings. On that tape I captured "Betterman" & "Satan's Bed", both of which weren't released until November 1994.
