Don't worry, I still have the eye watching me. I'm sure theirs something I can do about it if I weren't so lazy.

Yea, umm.... my next suggestion, if you were at all computer savvy, would be Hijack this, but for the layman, I'd normally suggest a format and reinstall. It ends up being a lot easier in the end.

If you've run anti-spyware/adware software and anti-virus and cleaned up your startup and all that is left is deleting BHOs. Which, the lizard, probably is a BHO, it's just more than the average person can handle.

Heh, I'd love to help you more, but I've been tainted by past experiences of spending dozens of hours helping people to do something that would take me 5 minutes to do. Owning a computer is quite the chore, very expensive if you don't take the time to learn maintenance.

You can try Hijack This, but you can also cause more harm to your computer using tools like it if you don't know what you are doing. If you want, download it, run it and save a log, then paste the log here and I'll look into it at some point.
I necessarily have the passion for writing this, and you have the passion for condemning me; both of us are equally fools, equally the toys of destiny. Your nature is to do harm, mine is to love truth, and to make it public in spite of you. - Voltaire

I know this is Jeanie's thread but thanks. I may get my partner to look at this and maybe you can sort something out together - if you'd be so kind.
MY computer crashes all the time and I'm pretty sure our information is being relayed to someone.

No! :) Not my thread. I just started it. :)

Tis open to all to comment as it should be. And if you find out how to rid yourself of the "eye" then that's excellent! :)

Oh and thanks Ryan, I appreciate the offer. :) It might just be easier for me to drag my doofus brother here and have him take a look at it.
    NOPE!!!

Yea, well. I doubt it. I've had unprotected internet for over a decade and I've never had any of my accounts hacked. My bank account password is a common five letter word and it's never been hacked. Paranoia is rampant in today's soceity. I mean, Y2K bug, as an example.

But those viruses can be annoying. Let me know if you need more help.

    No but thanks. :)

He's not here now but the C's have been here for a couple of days instead.
Little pink lizard was coming up on all my tabs but now the C's are there in his place. A bold white C in a red box. Pink lizard head did turn up on google a couple of times yesterday but not today.

I guess to describe it, it's like a little pink lizard head facing the other direction to Mr Mozilla and it has a beady grey eye.

It was just a head, a pinkish lizard head with a beady grey eye.

Growing up, didn't your mom tell you to avoid one-eyed lizards, no matter how nice the boy? ;)

Actually the standard mantra in my family was keep your legs shut! :D

I guess they figured if my legs were shut I wasn't gonna be seeing any one-eyed lizards anyway! :p
Oh that and all men are evil! :D
