I have tested Vista and all it's betas for the last year. Using the final product as my everyday computer is great! It is really easy on the eyes with the new Areo theme. The search feature is quick and extensive! It searches Outlook even if Outlook isn't open. Not to mention the new Office 2007.....holy damn what an improvement!!! I enjoying it needless to say.
I've got the exact same setup. I had RC1 on an HP6220, and then Vista Business, but the 6220 didn't have the hardware to fully support all of the Vista features! With Enterprise on the 6400 it's wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you using office 2007 too?
AND actually, I am using Firefox as my default browser. Works wonderfully so far.bugs in the way...I feel about you

But I do believe IT people should be working with Vista now too, because of the fact they won't be able to answer any probs or devellop soft.Surf little waves big... Charge big waves hard

we are in a Windows NT environment.
I have to go now
You mean like NT 4.0, right? Because, Win2K, WinXP, and WinVista are all NT based."Feel it rising, yeah next stop falling!"

vista has been widely seen as xp roid's addition ;to say MS has run of ideas is putting it lightly

Solution to all Mac VS PC problems....
Build your own comp with a RAID set up with at least 300GB (if any higher make sure that the number is divisible by 3) and partition it evenly with WinXP Pro, WinVista x64, and OSx86.
I'm not going to go in to the technical details of building custom pc , but I'd be glad to send you the specs of my system and give you a couple of links on how to do it.

Well, yeah people hate Vista because it screws up their RAM by leaving programs in there after it closes causing a comp with 2GB of RAM occasionally to behave like a computer with 512MB of RAM."Feel it rising, yeah next stop falling!"

I guess since it's a necessity for work that I reboot pretty often, I don't experience this. And I am seriously amazed that my PC only crashed once, and that was with RC1. I keep installing things on it and it's still going strong. Of course tomorrow it'll crash since I posted this....bugs in the way...I feel about you
