It's our favorite lunch spot, and sometimes happy hour. And my buddy who works at Vanguard and I meet there to watch the (always in the afternoon) Temple 1st round tourney games. (last year was cool with Temple & PSU fans there - we all shook hands after the game was over) It's less than a block from the Paoli train station.

Nice, sounds great. Can't believe a place like that could get a BA ranking like that, very impressive. Has to be great. Maybe I will make the trek out that was sometime to check it out.

I don't think it's up this way yet. Both The Foodery and Beer Heaven in Philly don't have it and I am pretty certain they will be some of the first to get it.

Somebody said in that thread it's not approved in PA yet. Maybe try Total Wine in Claymont???

I'll be getting my 4 bottles from my dad this weekend. :D

Yea it's a really good place. For a while they had a pork belly BLT - yum. Wish they would get that back. I was fairly surprised at the BA ranking, actually. Considering where you are and all your options, not sure if it's worth a trek out to Paoli.

Yeah, I don't think it is. None of my places even have any info on timing.

Good stuff, I'm heading down there tomorrow to scoop some up. They have a band tomorrow night so will most likely end up staying down there and having a good time.

Pork belly BLT sounds pretty fucking good. I hate when places take my favorite thing of the menu. Petes sake needs to bring back their tuna tacos. yeah, definitely suprising but very cool. Yeah, we'll see. Probably not any time soon but I will definitely keep it in mind.

just saw that...that's awesome. wish he would have fallen to them on waivers last summer though.

gives the phils some flexibility while r6 is out.

Will be great to have a first baseman that doesn't suck on the team

Last time I checked the Yankees were the last of the two teams to win something even though the phillies had "the greatest rotation in the history of the game"

it was best team in history of the game according to this thread

Buying alcohol in PA is horrible. Just horrible. We bought some wine over in italy and we had to have it shipped to my mom's house in jersey because we couldn't have it shipped to our PA address. It's funny to me that PA is about 100 years behind other states in terms of alcohol sales.

My in-laws got me a couple of bottles last time they were at their shorehouse. Gave it to me this week as a surprise. gonna tap into them tomorrow. I'm not expecting much in terms of quality, but it's worth a shot since it's dedicated to PJ.

sometimes it's too easy around here.

and just remember...the playoffs don't matter. as long as the team is good during the regular season then people in this thread are satisfied (even though some talk shit all season about how great the team is)

in case you can't tell, I'm still not over this team choking vs STL...or SF

exactly. especially when your squad is the odds on favorite to win it all...with the 2nd highest payroll in a league with no salary cap.

anyway, not a whole lot of talk about what the phils should do with the mess of the roster. been a while since this team won it all, looks like the bandwagon is emptying out

I put this in the Yankees thread. Gotta have a sense of humor in this city.

    Sabathia's contract extension done deal- 1-year, $25 m. for 2016, and a $5 million buyout in 2017. Total guaranteed, five years, $122 m with $25m option for '17

    CC via Twitter

"Yankee fans, I'll be here fighting for number 28 next year,"

Good deal for the Yanks :D

Maybe Jimmy Rollins will tweet: "I'm coming back for #3 Phillies fans!"

I have come to the conclusion that I'd rather overpay for reyes than rollins

Also, there are wright for brown rumors floating around. Doubt those teams would ever pull off a trade of that magnitude, but I would LOVE to see that happen.

My dream scenario would be phils trading brown for wright, signing reyes, then winning it all. there would be no mets fans left because they would all kill themselves.
I know for a fact alota mets fans would be jumping if someone would take our overrated players and the most non clutch players ever. If you want that on your team by all means take them. Go look at what both reyes and wright did in the 06 playoffs, September 07 and September 08. Id be happy as hell to get rid of both of them.
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?

Watched the movie "I melt with you" last night. Holy fuck. People are either going to love it or despise it, I thought it was fucking great. Was expecting hangover on steroids but a drama, yeah, let's just say it's not that. it's on demand and a pretty fucking crazy movie
