    what's your confidence level at right now as opposed to the last 3 years?

    i feel like i did in 09...slightly more confident than last year (seemed like they were still in a post clinching lull heading in). i love sweeping the braves. kind of a quazi playoff series knocking them out and all.

    My confidence level is the same as it was last year and the year before - we're the best team in the league. But of course, anything can happen. That's ridiculous odds though.

    Lohse to start game 1, Jackson game 2, Garcia game 3. Carpenter won't pitch till game 4(if necessary) and Garcia not till game 3??? That's just plain stupidity.

    EDIT: Carpenter game 3, Garcia in game 4. Either way, it's still insane.

    Went out to dinner at Chifa last night with some sales reps who decided it was a good idea to try pretty much every scotch on the menu after dinner. Good times last night, not so much today.

    So I guess the word is that Garcia maybe isn't healthy enough to pitch Game 1 or 2, and the Cards might be out of bullets. We'll see how it goes. Lohse seems to pitch well against the Phils too. :?

    Yeah, not feeling too great. Luckily it is a fairly slow day at work today.

    Chifa is definitely good. Was a good size group so we had a pre fix tasting menu which was cool. Think I like most of his other places more though. Meant to mention that we didn't end up going to the Oyster House last week, went to Village Whiskey instead, which was awesome.

    We got there really early and were able to get a table but the place is TINY and it sounded like they were booked up for the night. It was packed when we left around 7 to head to the Franklin Institute. Incredible burgers.
